Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Another Sunny Day

I'm getting spoiled with these sunny morning walks.
Another one this morning.
47 degrees and no wind.
Sunrise 5:51

Another walk starting around both of the cemeteries.
There is another geese family at the pond but I was too
far away to get a good picture.
This one has 4 babies.
Altogether there are 13 little ones there now.

Walked around town and up and down side streets.
Over to and around the ball park loop.
A few of the chickens.

From there I went back to the pond.

The fence between the car dealer and the old pizza place has
progressed a little.
Posts are all cemented in and more of the fence done.
Thinking someone may have bought the building and wonder
what will go there next.
It has been a bar, a cafe, and a pizza place since we have lived here.
Nothing lasts very long.

Such a pretty morning to be out walking but
didn't see anyone else out.

This is the last week I'll see the school buses.
The last day of school is Friday.
A little late this year because of all the snow days!!

😊    🥾    ☀️

Great day for laundry and I had all three of my lines full
and all was dried by noon!!!

Got the last batch of chocolate chippers made for the kids
at Sunday school for this coming Sunday.

The got most of the house cleaning done for this week.

Then this afternoon I did some reading.
Also knitting another pair of slippers.
The pink ones I just finished I gave to Liz because her
current ones had a blowout.
I told her to take the pink ones and I'd just knit myself another pair.

Well that's going to be it for todays post.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Hope you had a wonderful day.
HappyK 🙂

Such a pretty blue sky. We have a place near here that has had several businesses in it and they haven't lasted long. Now it's sitting empty.

You had a good day! I did too. It was a gorgeous day for a walk for me.
We have a building in town that went through so many businesses. It's now a Mexican restaurant and has been there for 3 years and is consistently busy. Hopefully your building will get something that works too.
Happy June!

We have places of business like that here in our area, too, Karen. There are just some locations that no matter what goes in them, they just don't last. Carroll teases that they made their fortune and closed. :)
It was a beautiful day today! Oh my! I didn't get out much because of things inside that needed to be tended to. It sounds as if you had a very productive day today!
