Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

A mix of sun and clouds for my walk this morning
and it was 58 degrees.
Woke up a little early this morning so was out walking in town
at 6:10 and it was very quiet.

Early morning picture in the cemetery.
See my long shadow?

Walked around both of the cemeteries and the ball park loop.
Then back to the pond.

Continued up to the main road and walked up and down there
and some side streets too.

Saw a man walking his dog who I see once in a great while
but don't know who he is.
We did say Good Morning as we passed by.

A fireman was out by the firehouse washing one of the fire trucks.

Another shot of the pond with the geese.
Babies now just about as big as the parents.

😊    🧢    🌤

Stitching time at the library this morning.
A good crowd showed up this time.
8 of us.

David and Liz won't be around tomorrow so they came by this
afternoon for Father's Day.

When they left I sat outside and read.
Just about finished my book and will do that later.
It been a lazy kind of day but a good!!

Thanks for stopping by
and hope you had a wonderful day.

We had almost exactly the same weather conditions for walking this morning. A lovely Summer Day. Happy Summer Solstice ( a wee bit early).
