Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

YouTubeVideo

This morning I walked in the rain.
It was 57 degrees.

At first there was just a little misty drizzle.
Didn't feel like lugging the umbrella so thought I'd just get a little damp.

Walked around one of the cemeteries

and then the other one.

By that time it had started raining harder so stopped at the
Jeep and got the umbrella.

Then continued walking over to the ball park and walked that loop.
Went up and down some side streets too.

Walking past this yard I wondered what this was all about.
It looked like all plastic pipes put together and there is a doorway.

Pretty quiet around town on the raining morning and didn't
see anyone else out walking.

Always good to start my day out with a walk. 😊

🌧    🙂    🥾    ☔️

Drove to church this morning to meet the other ladies making
blankets for babies and seniors.
There were 8 of us there.

The other week when Ken was at a train show
(He had a table and sold some things)
he ran into an old train friend from years ago
when we lived in Howard County.
He has a YouTube channel and asked Ken if he could
come over and take some videos for his YouTube channel.
Ken said yes so he was here this afternoon with a friend taking videos.
I'll post the YouTube video when its done.

I did a bit of cleaning, reading, and knitting.

Noticed this afternoon a tiny fawn out back with her mama.
Mama put her in a safe place among the ferns and off she went.
She'll be back later to get her fawn.

That's going to be it for this post.
Hope you had a wonderful day and thanks so much for coming by.

How fortunate you were to see the mama deer and her tiny fawn. I wonder if she's one of your "regulars".

My guess on the plastic tube structure is a hot house to be covered with plastic. As always, I enjoy your post.

I also thought the plastic tube thing could be the start of a type of greenhouse.
I love that you saw a little fawn. Looking forward to the youtube video.
