Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Mama and Fawn

It was just cloudy for walking this morning,
but the air was so saturated that I felt damp.

Walked around the cemetery
the other cemetery
and the ball park one time.
All the chickens were out and you will be happy to know
that the little wayward chick is back where she belongs.

Then over to the industrial park and walked all around in there.
Continued back through town and to the pond where my walk ended.

Looks like a road side stand is being built.
Maybe a vegetable stand.
Will have to see.

A peony about to bloom.

Spotted this purple and yellow iris.

Saw a man walking with a dog toward the end of my walk.
He was taking pictures of all the signs in town.

☁️    🥾    😊

Finished up some cleaning for the week.
I have a rolling pin collection and had them all standing up in a
round wooden bucket.
Got tired of looking at them there so put them all
on a shelf under the table in the kitchen.
I use the table as an island.

Mama and fawn out back this afternoon.

That's my post for today.
Hope you had a wonderful day.
Thanks for stopping by.

The peony and iris are so pretty! I think seeing mama deer and fawns is heartwarming.
I really like your rolling pins displayed like that!

What a fun walk today! The mama and fawn are so sweet. The peony is gorgeous, and almost looks like tissue paper. And a gorgeous color combination on the iris. The little structure almost looks too small to be a vegetable stand, I am anxious to see what it will be. The rolling pins look good there, and I love your kitchen cabinets.
