Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Basketweave

Chance of frost last night but it didn't get quite cold enough.
We did cover the vegetable garden just in case.

It was 35 degrees this morning, no wind, and cloudy.
Sunrise 6:16
Nice that it isn't even dark now when I leave for town.

First walked around the cemetery on the hill.
Went to the long barn to say hi and check on the cows.

Walked down by the Drane house too.
Some restoration work is being done on the house.

Then I walked around the other cemetery a couple of times.
Continued over to the ball park taking the long route all around town.
Then it was back to the pond.

Fishing with a cop morning at the pond and a couple of people were just getting there as I was leaving for home.

🙂    🐄    ☁️    🥾

Went to the library to do some stitching with the ladies.
5 of us there this morning.
I was knitting on a small blanket I've been working on - either a throw or a baby blanket.
It is a new stitch for me called Basketweave.

My phone case came last evening at 7:30 just as I was giving up the thought of it arriving.

Had an afternoon of doing a little of this and that, really just enjoying being home.

Hope you had a wonderful Saturday.
Thanks so much for coming by.
HappyK 😊

It is never too late to be what you might have been.

Love your Basketweave stitch! Doesn’t look too difficult to do.
