This morning I had a nice walk in the rain.
It was 55 degrees, too warm for my raincoat so took along my umbrella.
Just a bit of a breeze so I didn't have to worry about my umbrella blowing inside out.
Walked around the cemetery up the hill first and then all around town, to and around the ball park and some more around town.
This rhododendron bush was a nice bright spot on a rainy morning.
It rained the whole time.
As expected I didn't see any others out walking.
🌧 😊 ☔️
Did some house cleaning in the morning.
Then I had to fix a mistake in the blanket I'm knitting.
Had to take out a few rows to fix the mistake!!
Then spent more time reading my book which so far is excellent. (Theo of Golden)
Today is our Pastor's birthday and after church this evening there will be cake to celebrate which I'll staying for. 😊
I'm going to give him the humming bird diamond art card I made.
It will be the first one I give to someone.
At first I thought it might be to girlie but decided to give it him anyway.
He really likes humming birds.
I wrote a nice message inside and a Bible verse.
So that's all I have for this post.
Hope you had a wonderful day.
Thanks for coming by.
HappyK😊

That rhododendron bush is beautiful.
Happy Birthday to your Pastor, I'm sure he will like your diamond art card.
All the best Jan
I'm sure your Pastor will love the diamond art card.
I'm sure your pastor will like that personally made card. That rhododendron is beautiful!
Love the rhododendron. I tried planting one once but it didn't survive.
Happy birthday to your pastor. I'm sure he'll love the card.
Sounds like a kind of rain you could dance in. The rhoddie is so pretty. Happy Birthday to your pastor!!
That was a nice gentle rain today, wasn't it? We went to Grantsville late morning, and it seemed as though we were always on the edge of seeing the sun, and we also saw some fog.
Yours makes the second place on blogs today that someone is reading or listening to Theo of Golden. I'm glad you are enjoying it.
I am sure your pastor will enjoy the card you give him tonight for his birthday.
And I really like the quote at the end of your post today. Thank you for sharing it.
Gorgeous photos, Karen.
Our sweet Karen walks rain or shine . . . I'm so impressed.
Have a lovely time celebrating your pastor birthday :)
...the rhododendron is loving the rain!
What a good idea to have the first card go to your pastor! The Rhododendron is so pretty. We have them here, and for some reason this is the only color I ever see.
What a nice day!!! Happy Birthday to you pastor.
Not the best weather for me but these are beautiful photos and there is something especially peaceful about walking in the rain when it’s warm enough to enjoy it instead of endure it. A quiet town, empty sidewalks, cemeteries on a misty morning, and the steady sound of rain can make even an ordinary walk feel reflective and calming. The bright rhododendron against the gray weather must have looked beautiful too. Rainy days often make colors stand out more vividly.
I love being out in the rain (as long as I'm not actually going somewhere). There's something so refreshing about a fun walk in the rain. The flowers are beautiful!
A wonderful Rhododendron. My neighbor has one that has not yet bloomed. We once again had frost. UGH Janice
We need some rain over here. The few droplets we've had dried out before they hit the ground.
God bless.
That is a pretty rhododendron. I don't see too many of those. Rain can be so dreary, but it is fun to get out in it and walk as long as it's just sprinkling. Have a great weekend!
Colorful, healthy rhododendron. There is a Pacific variation of rhododendron that grows under redwood trees so usually when I see them, I see the flowering plant. They go so well together.
That Rhododendron is spectacular!
