Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

A delightful day

After not walking yesterday it sure was nice to be out walking
around town today.
Perfect walking weather.
57 degrees, a mix of clouds and sun and calm.
Delightful describes it perfectly.

I had to get some routine blood work done and since I go right here
in town it is very convenient.

You can drop in any time between 6:30 and 10 to have blood drawn.
So I walked around one of the cemeteries and then on the way to
the other one popped in and had blood drawn.
I was in and out in 5 minutes.
I saw another lady there and she said to me,
I see you walking every morning.
I asked if she lived in town and she said no but she sees
me as she drives through town on her way to work.

Continued walking up the hill and around the other cemetery.
I noticed little tiny sprouts of corn in the fields on either
side of the road.

Next walked through town and to the ball park,
around there a couple of times and then back to the pond and parking lot.

No one else out walking but saw Bill (town worker)
mowing the lawn on the property the town owns.
He always keeps things neat and trim.
I thank him often.

😊    🥾    🌤

After breakfast I made us a couple of salads for lunch and then
we headed out to church for a day of Fingerprint work.
A pretty good turnout and we got quite a lot of Roman's book assembled.
Supper time we called out for pizza.
Worked a little longer and then we came home.
Here we are at work.

Nice to be home and relaxing.

Hope you had a wonderful day and thanks for coming by.

I pop in and out each time I have to take my mom for blood work. Most convenient since I have to take her every 3-4 weeks now. Glad you had a nice turnout for fingerprints and also that you were able to get your daily walk in. Janice

Glad the weather cooperated for your walk on this day. We had a mighty thunder/lightning storm roll in last night. Grateful we kept power! Hope you have another delightful walk today!

Looks like a nice turnout for Fingerprints on Thursday. I love how people recognize you from your daily walks. That's so neat.
