Walked under cloudy skies this morning and the temperature was 44 degrees and a little windy.
Walked around the cemetery up the hill a few times.
Saw a fellow walker up there, a man who I've never seen before.
We said good morning as we passed.
Maybe I'll see him again and after a while I will have another walking friend. ๐
Continued walking and stopped at the Jeep to pick up a DVD and went to the library and put it down the drop.
Then over to the ball park to walk that loop.
Through town and down the main road towards home a while before heading back to town.
Walked around the other cemetery which is at the end of the road on the left.
I'm coming to the end of my walk here. That's my Jeep in the parking lot.
The sun made an appearance for about 10 minutes.
Not long but still nice to see.

Well, gospel track month is over and we all ended up giving out just over 10,000 of them.
Happy to say us ladies WON so in two weeks the men will be serving us a spaghetti dinner.
One of the little girls from church made me this pot holder.
I will add it to my collection.
I love it!!
We went to the library to pick up a couple of books and dvd's all for Ken.
He picked out the dvd's but I'll watch them too.
I didn't get anything because I'm reading a couple books already.
Another new bird at the feeder today, a Baltimore Oriole.
A chance of frost tonight so we will have to cover the vegetables we planted.
Happy Thursday to you.
Thanks for coming by.

Hi Karen, how sweet that a little girl from your church made you a lovely pot holder. Beautiful colours.
Your photos are so pretty, and how wonderful that you saw a Baltimore Oriole.
...I remember making them when I was a kid!
That was a cloudy start to your walk, but it looks quite nice by the end.
I love the pot holder. I remember making them when I was young and giving them away.
I actually really like those types of pot holders.
That potholder is adorable! I love all of the colors in it.
We seldom ever see a Baltimore Oriole here, but we had a family that would build a nest in a Walnut tree off our back porch at our old house. They always make me think of my dad. It was his favorite bird.
It looks like one of those days when the clouds hang around but don't really threaten rain.. Hopefully your newly planted veggies will be okay. Tonight will be the first night that we don't cover ours.
I have only seen a Baltimore Oriole once. They are such an impressive bird! The potholder is extra special because a sweet little girl made it for you.
I remember making potholders like that when I was a kid. How sweet that she gave it to you. She did good making it.
We were supposed to have a frost last night but it doesn't look like we got it.
I love the pot holder. Happy Friday.

It is a treat to have a Baltimore Oriole at your feeder.

What a sweet gesture of the little girl gifting you the pot holder. Very nice. Janice
Hi Karen, Congrats on the win and now the men get to serve you! Love it!!! I remember making those pot holders and my kids made them, too. I hope you have a wonderful May 1st. We woke to snow!!! ugh....xo Diana
Such a beautiful scene where your jeep is parked. I have a few pot holders like that my daughter made as a child.
Congrats to the ladies! That will be a fun spaghetti feed. Love the sweet gift from that little one. Hope your Friday is going well. Happy May day!
What a sweet gift. I remember those little weaving squares and making those when I was young. It's great to see that children are still doing that. Wish that I could attend your spaghetti feed :)
A very nice gift, very sweet. The spaghetti dinner sounds wonderful and lots of fun. Happy May!
I do like your village pond!
Lovely colours in the pot holder.
All the best Jan
