A Robin

54 degrees this morning and it was mostly sunny with a few clouds.

Today I walked around the farm loop route.

Some pictures along the way.

Took the road on the left up ahead.

It must really be spring now because the fountain in the pond has been turned back on.

I saw this Robin sitting here in the gutter along the main road not moving.

Got close and took a picture and it never moved.

It must have flown into a car or truck and just got stunned.

The birds out by the feeder at the house fly into the window sometimes and get stunned like that and they just fly off after a while.

I went to the library this morning to meet the ladies in the stitching group.

It was only me and Jalene there this week.

Started out with her crocheting and me knitting but we soon put that aside and just had a very nice visit!!

After lunch I went outside again to stack more branches and limbs on the brush fence.

Ken still has another tree to take down.

Sat on the porch for a little while and then I went inside and knitted.

Working on the cable stitch pillow.

Won't be long now before I'm finished with it.

Connie - About the pennies.  They stopped making them in 2025.  There are between 114 billion and 300 billion pennies still out there. You can still use them but they are being fazed out.  Some stores are rounding to the nearest nickel now.

It costs 3.7 cents to make a penny.
