Sunrise 7:30
The temperature was 33 degrees and once it was light a mix of sun and clouds.
It was a bit windy too but nothing like it was yesterday afternoon or through the night.
As usual walked all around town under the street lights till is was light.
Then headed to the ball park and walked around there a few times.
The chickens were all out this morning.
Walked around town some more till I had all my steps in.
As I walked past the house they've been working on for a long time across from the pond I thought, that house isn't green!! Then I realized the white siding has been taken off.
I think they are done renovating the inside and now will put new siding on it.
Curious to see what color it will be.
I had just gotten in the Jeep to go home when I saw Rebecca come walking down her driveway walking her dog Leo.
Maybe she'll start walking outside again.
I used to see her almost every day.
🙂 🥾 🌤
I decided to stay home this morning and not go to the library to meet the stitching ladies.
I missed going but sure didn't want to pass my cold along.
Feeling almost back to normal but still have a nasty cough.
The other morning we noticed all the bird seed was gone from the feeder.
It was more than half full when we went to bed so knew something besides birds were eating them.
Knew it wasn't a bear because the feeder would have been destroyed.
So we have been taking the feeder in at night.
Yesterday I forgot to take the feeder in and remembered at bedtime.
Put the light on to take a look and then discovered what was eating the seeds.
Raccoons, three of them.
Pictures not great but they were taken through the window.
Here the three of them are on the ground.
A day spent around the house doing a bit of work, reading, knitting and just enjoying the day.
Making Baked Spaghetti Pie for supper.
We had spaghetti the other day.
Made the whole box but only ate half of the spaghetti.
Using the left over half to make todays supper.
Hope you had a wonderful Saturday.
Thanks for stopping by.

Janice - Yankee Doodle cupcakes are very different from the hostess cupcakes, which I also like! Yankee Doodles have a different texture and the cream is creamer. Have you ever had Devil Dogs? They taste like them.

Hi dear Karen, raccoons are intelligent and good scavengers. Even in the city. Here in Montreal they look in garbage cans that are not secured for food.
I love your picture of the chickens.
Here in Montreal we got a lot of snow ❄️ and the temperature is now 0 Celsius so it is melting slowly.
The rascally racoons! You did get some good photographs.
I enjoyed seeing the chickens ...
All the best Jan
