Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Feeding the birds

This morning it was 16 degrees, windy, snowy, and slippery.
The weather had me walking in the basement today.
Picture taken out the basement window.

Did my usual morning routine and got a little more house cleaning done.

A trip out back to feed the birds.

After lunch we were outside clearing the snow, Ken on the tractor and me with the shovel where the tractor can't go.

When I came back in I made one of the diamond art cards.

Made Stuffed Peppers for supper and they are in the oven now so we'll be eating
very soon.

Hope you enjoyed your Tuesday.
Thanks for stopping by.

That is a lot of snow. We had some flurries with sleet and I am glad it was nothing more. Your card turned out very nice!

We were 3 degrees warmer here this morning. We had a little more snow today too.
The card is really pretty. I'm going to have to look for them again on Amazon

I do believe that you got a bit more snow than we did. It's supposed to be in the 40s tomorrow, so I imagine by the end of the afternoon the majority of ours will be gone. It was already beginning to melt from underneath this afternoon

That's crazy with all that snow while I'm sitting here with the AC on. Of course we are approximately 2500 miles. It's still pretty though - too bad UT has to be that cold! 🤔

Hi Karen! Wow, I wish we could get some snow. We have had a nearly snowless winter, and today we were up to 80 degrees! It's been crazy. I love the card you made. What a neat craft. Great pictures of you out in the snow feeding the birds. Have a good day tomorrow!
