Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Cross stitch and diamond art

A cloudy morning and 50 degrees when I walked.
Had another book and DVD to drop off at the library so walked there first and put them down the drop.

Continued walking all around town up and down all the streets.
Walked around both of the cemeteries.
Went down to the barn by the Drane house but no bulls were there.

Over by the other cemetery a big limb of a tree had fallen across the street.
Someone had already cut it up so as not to block the road.

Pretty quiet around town but I did see Rebecca out walking again.

🙂    ☁️    🥾

It's Monday so sheet washing day again and made a start on this weeks house cleaning.

A couple of weeks ago we bought some tomato and radish seeds.
Was going to get some cucumber seeds but ended up getting beans instead.
Along with the seeds bought one of those little starter seed kits.
Got the seeds planted in it today.

I ordered a counted cross stitch kit from Hershner's of a couple of cows and it came in the mail today.
Haven't started it yet but looking forward to it.

Another craft kit came in the mail for me too.
I had talked about wanting to get some Diamond Art cards to make.
Ken surprised me by ordering some and they came in the mail today.
There are 12 different cards with envelopes.
Look forward to making these also.

We went to the library to pick up a couple of books and a DVD.
The two books I got are, It's Not Her by Mary Kubica and Mrs. Endicott's Splendid Adventure by Rhys Bowen.
Started reading the latter and liked it right away.

Supper tonight will be left over baked spaghetti from the other day and a salad.

That's all for today.
Hope you had a wonderful Monday and
Thanks for stopping by for a visit.

I have never heard of diamond art cards. Wow, sending one would be sending a piece of art! I just got two diamond art kits. But those color charts really confuse me. Anyway, I got a set of coasters and a small picture on canvas. I want to see updates on your work on the cards!
