Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

ABC Friday

This morning was a mix of sun and clouds and the temperature was 32 degrees when I went for my walk.

Since it is just about light out when I start walking now I first went around both of the cemeteries.
Then up and down some side streets on the way over to the ball park and walked around that loop a couple of times.

Then up and down some more side streets on the way back to the Jeep.

Very quiet around town early this morning and did not see anyone else out.

😊    🥾    🌤

Left again for church this morning and had another work day doing Fingerprints.
Not a great turn out again but we got 7,776 Romans books put together, stapled, cut, and box up ready to go.

On the way home stopped at Walmart for a couple of things and the library too.
We had a coupled of DVD's to pick up that we had on reserve.

It was a nice sunny day in the upper 40's.

In a little while we will be having our Friday night homemade pizza which is always a treat.

MY ABC'S

ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ

Sometimes pictures, sometimes just words but it will be something about me.

W is for Waldwick
Waldwick, New Jersey is the town where I grew up.
It is located in Bergen county which is in the north east corner of the state.
I lived across the street from the Waldwick town pool where I spent a large part of my summer.
There was a lake and woods down the road from me which was a great place
to hike and explore and I did both often.
Waldwick was a great place to grow up.

Thanks for coming by.
Hope you had a wonderful Friday.

You had another beautiful start to the day. That photo is gorgeous!
We made it to 52 degrees here and did some walking outside too, what a treat. Tomorrow we're supposed to get snow again.
I've never been in New Jersey, enjoyed reading about your growing up years there.
