It was a chilly start with 16 degrees when I started walking this morning, but there was no wind.
I first walked back down the road from town that I just drove up.
On the way back toward town I made a detour up Sale Barn and then went back to town.
Then up and down the road to the upper cemetery and then all around town till I had all my steps in.
Saw Bill out working again and stopped to talk to him but no one else was out walking.
By the end of my walk and back to the Jeep the sun was shining brightly and it was up to 23 degrees.

Just enjoying the day around the house.
Gave the bird feeders a good cleaning. First washed them in hot soapy water, then soaked them in water and vinegar a while, rinsed them good and let dry.
I joined KindleUnlimited on Amazon and got my first book downloaded onto the Kindle without a problem!!
I get a trial month for free to see how I like it.
Going to use the Kindle at night in bed before I go to sleep.
Will be easier than holding a book and since it is bright I can still read if Ken wants to go to sleep.
Knitted a little on the blanket I just started.
The color has a strange name, Riddle/Enigma.
You would never know the color by the name.
I'll post a picture tomorrow so you can see the color.

U is for Umbrella
16 years ago I bought this nice big golf umbrella back in 2010 and have
been using it ever since.
I use it sometimes when it rains but not always.
When it rain it usually too windy and then it is about useless.
It is a job holding on to it in the wind.
Friday and I'm looking forward to pizza in a little while!!!

I have a Kindle and have found the Kindle unlimited to be a really good deal for me. I also use it before I go to sleep.
I finally got myself an umbrella that can't be turned inside out
( after ruining a few). It's black on the outside but has a pretty flowery print on the inner liner.
I always like seeing that pretty white church in your pictures.

Hi Karen. I have Kindle Unlimited and I love it! I still read traditional books, but I find that I am reading on my Kindle more and more, and I love the books I find on Kindle Unlimited. I was afraid it wouldn't be worth the price, but for me, it definitely is. Reading on my Kindle is easier on my eyes too! I love that picture of you holding the umbrella. The sun has turned the trees into gold! The gold with the bright blue sky is gorgeous! And for some reason, your umbrella reminds me of England. It's nice and big, too.

I have an umbrella like that and I agree, it's hard to hold on to in the wind.
I have a kindle but in all the years I've had it I've only gotten the totally free books. I've thought of getting kindle unlimited but never have.
That is a nice big umbrella! Unfortunately, I don't read enough to justify Kindle Unlimited but people I know that have it love it! I usually read books off of my library app or Hoopla.
