Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Saturday

29 degrees this morning for walking around town.
Once the sun rose it was sunny with just a few clouds around and a slight breeze.

The usual walk all around town up and down all the side streets.
Not complaining but it will be nice when I can walk around the ball park and cemeteries again.

Walking down the road by KitKat's house he came running over to me.
He rubbed against my legs as I petted him.
Haven't seen him in a long time.
Guess with it being so cold he's been staying inside.
Now he is ready to have adventures outside again.🐈

Walked over to see the cows again but the gate was closed and I couldn't get in.
I think the gate was closed because some of the cows and calves were going out to the pasture.πŸ„
Took a picture through the gate.

The picnic table sits here waiting for spring to arrive.

Can you spot the crow up in the tree?
He's about in the middle of the picture.

This morning I was back at the library.
This time for the stitching get together.
There were 6 of us there.
I've sure been to the library a lot this week!!
While there I made some weave-it squares.
Came home with 3 DVD's series to try and a couple of books.
I have enough reading material now to last me a while!!

This is the blanket that I've started with the odd color name.
Riddle/Enigma
I like the color but it sure has an odd name.

Today for supper I'm frying up some onions and peppers. Will eat them in a burrito shell with rice and a bit of sour cream.

Hope you had a great Saturday.
Thanks for coming by.
