The sky was cloudy ☁️ and there was a slight breeze.
It might sound cold but I'm telling you with the proper clothes on I do stay warm.
I wear 5 layers and it takes me awhile to get them all put on! 😊
I walked all around town where I could, up and down the side streets.
Went up to the cemeteries but can't walk around them yet.
This is the entrance to the ball park loop.
And don't think I'll be walking down this sidewalk any time soon.
Over at the post office Dwayne was outside putting more salt down and I stopped to talk to him.
Glad to have had another day walking outside. 😀
It started snowing again this morning so who knows what tomorrow holds.
Everyones car is so dirty!!!! Here's mine.
🥾 🥾
This moring I turned some brown bananas into some Banana Nut Muffins.
I added some mini chocolate chips in also.
Ken couldn't wait and had one a few minutes out of the oven.
Home all day in our nice warm house.
Birds are happily eating at the feeders.
I did some reading and making some weave-it squares.
Making a baby blanket for a friend who asked if I would one with pink in it for her granddaughter to be born in the spring.
MY ABC'S
ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ
Sometimes pictures, sometimes just words but it will be something about me.
T is for Teachers
We all have some favorite or memorable teachers.
Here are a few of mine.
Mrs. Claxton was my first grade teacher and the one who taught me to read. How do you thank someone for that!!
Years before she was one of my uncles teachers!!
My second grade teacher, Mrs. Vervloet was my favorite teacher during all of grade school. She was one of those teachers that everyone liked.
My mom had her for a teacher too when she was a kid but she was a Miss then. She was her favorite teacher too.
In six grade Mr. Wren was my teacher and the first man teacher I had. He used to throw chalk and erasers at kids who weren't paying attention. Sometimes he would go way off on tangents and tell us all kinds of stories. Not so great of a teacher but it was nice hearing his stories.
I liked my English/Literature teacher Mr. Bontecue who got some good discussions going on in class. I usually didn't say much in classes but in his class I opened my mouth quite a bit.
These 4 teachers are the ones that stand out for me.
I had some great teachers, some not so good and some pretty bad ones but I'm thankful for them all.
So that's it for this post.
Hope you had a wonderful Friday and thanks for coming by.

Beautiful snow ❄️ photos from your walk, Karen. Your muffins look delicious 😋
What a coincidence! My first male teacher threw erasers and other things. He would totally freak out at times. His name was Mr. Lasky.
I'm glad that you were able to get outside for your walk again today. Our forecast was for the snow to start at 9:00 this morning, and it did actually start at 9:00 on the dot! It will be interesting to see how things look in the morning when we wake up. :)
We went through the car wash earlier this week when we were in Morgantown and the car looked so good with all of that salt and dirt off it, but it didn't last long. At least it isn't as dirty as it was. :)
I enjoyed reading about your teachers that you had in school. And I totally agree with you about your first-grade teacher...she taught you how to read, and how do you thank someone for that! When I taught the younger grades in school my two favorite grades were Kindergarten and fourth grade. The reason Kindergarten was my favorite was because of teaching a child how to read. It's so rewarding.
...good for you Karen, I can't remember who my teachers were. Stay warm and well.
Banana nut muffins right from the oven are so yummy. It was good to hear you were able to walk this morning, still sounds too cold for me. Some of the teachers who taught Mr D also taught our children, I think that's neat. Stay warm and enjoy your muffins. :))
Sounds like the perfect day. Thanks for sharing.
That's a lot of layers to put on. Glad it keeps you warm though. My car is filthy right now too. I hate how bad it looks this time of year.
