Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Sunday

Happy Sunday
We saw blue sky today.

Baby Silvia Faye was born last night at 8:45.
Liz is now a Grandma 🙂
Mom and Baby doing well.

🙂    🙂

We still sing all the hymns in my church.
Today this was one of them we sang.

 ðŸŽ¶ I Will Sing the Wondrous Story 🎶
words Francis H Rowly
music Peter P Bilhorn

1. I will sing the wondrous story
Of the Christ who died for me.
How He left His home in glory
For the cross of Calvary.

Refrain
Yes, I'll sing the wondrous story
Of the Christ who died for me,
Sing it with the saints in glory,
Gathered by the crystal sea.

2. I was lost, but Jesus found me,
Found the sheep that went astray,
Threw His loving arms around me,
Drew me back into His way.

3. I was bruised, but Jesus healed me;
Faint was I from many a fall;
Sight was gone, and fears possessed me,
But He freed me from them all.

4. Days of darkness still come o'er me,
Sorrow's paths I often tread,
But the Savior still is with me;
By His hand I'm safely led.

5. He will keep me till the river
Rolls its waters at my feet;
Then He'll bear me safely over,
Where the loved ones I shall meet.

📖 Psalm 89:1 📖

 I will sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever:
with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.

 A Blessed Sunday to all

Hi Karen. We (the members of the congregation) also sing all of the hymns in our worship services. We don't have a band or anything like that. I have watched your worship services on Facebook, and they are quite similar to the worship at our church. I saw a baptism at your church too, and again it was very much like we baptize at our church. I love the name of Liz's new granddaughter! Congrats to Liz and the whole family!

That song takes me back to my childhood. My father used to lead the singing in our church when I was growing up and I can just hear his voice singing this! Congratulations to Liz and her family!

That blue sky is beautiful. Nothing like sunshine and blue skies.
Welcome to the world baby Silvia.

Big congratulations! Sylvia was my mother's name and a pretty one. We saw blue sky, too, and (very slightly) warmer weather. Glad for both!
