Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Pink and Blue Sky

This morning when I walked it was 25 degrees, and no wind.
The sky was clear with lots of stars and then sunny once the sun rose.

Walked around town with a stop at the library to put a DVD down the drop.
Continued over to the DG Market and then to the ball park and around there.

Next headed over to the cemeteries and went around both of them too.

Still no one else out walking but waved to the usual people in cars and trucks that I see every day.

A pretty pink and blue sky this morning.

Another delightful walk around town.

With a load of wash done and drying on the rack we headed down to Walmart for the weekly food shopping. ๐Ÿ›’

Home to put everything away.
That's the part of food shopping I enjoy.
Nice feeling to see the shelves stocked.

I mentioned that I was starting to knit a shawl.
Here's what I've knitted so far.
I like how the yarn makes its own pattern just by knitting. ๐Ÿงถ

Not sure who this one will be for.
Thinking about wearing it to church once it's finished and giving it to the first person who says they like it.  That should be fun.

Read this afternoon now that I finished the puzzle.  It's still sitting on the table. I like to look at it a couple of days before taking it apart.

Hope your day was one in which you smiled often. ๐Ÿ™‚
Thanks for coming by.

Loving the colors of your latest shawl. It was a balmy 36 here this morning. UGH Tired of Winter already. Rain, ice and snow coming in tomorrow and not looking forward to any of it since I have to drive to work. Janice PS that sky is just beautiful too!

The pastel pink and blue skies remind me of a baby blanket - so pretty

This is the coolest yarn! I don't know how they can figure out the pattern it will make by mixing the different colors. I hate taking a puzzle apart that we have worked don for so long. Gorgeous sky!
