I woke up a little later than usual and got to town
at 7:10 for my walk.
Sunrise was at 7:25 so didn't walk in the dark.
It was 21 degrees and cloudy.
Walked all over town with a stop at the library to put
a DVD down the drop.
Found a penny in the DG Market parking lot.
Walked around the ball park a couple of times and on
the short path behind it.
A forgotten pumpkin
Even a little later in the morning still didn't see anyone else out.
☁️ 💰 🙂
Made English Muffin Loaves this morning which
made the house smell good.
David's son, Japhy (our grandson) and his girlfriend Natalia
are staying with David for the week.
Japhy now lives in South Carolina after living in Hawaii for the
last few years (Step-Dad in the Air Force) where he met Natalia.
Natalia flew in from Hawaii for a visit.
It's her first time away from Hawaii and she's enjoying
seeing all the snow here, having never seen it before.
It's been 10 years since we've seen Japhy and he's soon to be 20 years old
so it's been a happy reunion.
We all went out for pizza at Brenda's for a lunch/supper at 3 this afternoon.
We haven't been to Brenda's in a long time so enjoyed that.
Then came back to the house and had fun time playing Mexican Train.
Taking a break now to publish this.
Liz isn't with us now right now.
She's down in Florida with her daughter for a while who
is having Liz's first grand baby.
Well, that's it for today.
Hope you had a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by.
HappyK 💕

Ginny - The pile of snow is just where the snow plows pushed the snow, no cars underneath.

How nice that you got to spend time with your grandson!
I am surprised the pumpkin is still intact.
So nice that you got to spend time with your grandson and his girlfriend.
All the best Jan
I thought the visitors would be deer or other wildlife, but I am not disappointed. 😄
How nice to have visited with your grandson especially at Christmas time.
How fun to have family visiting. My niece-in-law lives in a part of North Carolina that has no snow. She loves coming up here now for Christmas and so enjoys the snow too. Janice
So nice to be able to spend time with Japhy and Natalia. I'm sure the snow is exciting for her!
How nice! Lovely time spent! I love the pumpkin in your photo, Karen.
Hi Karen! It's so wonderful that your grandson and his girlfriend are there for a visit. I know you are all having a wonderful time.
I know it must have been so special to have your grandson after all these years!
Great family time. I haven't played mexican train for a long time, it's fun.
Sounds like a great time for the family, the grandson visit and for Liz becoming a grandmother. Take care, enjoy your day and the week ahead.
How exciting seeing your grandson after so long. That's exciting for Liz as well getting to be there to welcome a new grandbaby
So happy for you that you could have this reunion. It must be quite an experience for a Hawaiian to be in snow! Fun.
How wonderful to reunite with your grandson after 10 years, so happy for you. Experiencing snow for the first time had to be a special treat for Natalia. Great memories being made!
How nice to have Japhy and Natalia visiting. I can only imagine how much he has changed in ten years. How cool that there was snow for the visit. Every year when Jaxson comes for Christmas he wishes it would snow. Hasn't happened so far.
How exciting it must be to experience snow for the first time!! I hope you have a lovely visit with your grandson and his girlfriend.
We walked in the dark this morning. We better carry a flashlight for the next weeks ( months?).
I'm so glad that you have this time with your grandson and his girlfriend. What fun!
