Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Visitors

I woke up a little later than usual and got to town
at 7:10 for my walk.
Sunrise was at 7:25 so didn't walk in the dark.
It was 21 degrees and cloudy.

Walked all over town with a stop at the library to put
a DVD down the drop.
Found a penny in the DG Market parking lot.

Walked around the ball park a couple of times and on
the short path behind it.

Continued around town some more till got all my steps in.

A forgotten pumpkin

Even a little later in the morning still didn't see anyone else out.

☁️    💰    🙂

Made English Muffin Loaves this morning which
 made the house smell good.

David's son, Japhy (our grandson) and his girlfriend Natalia
are staying with David for the week.
Japhy now lives in South Carolina after living in Hawaii for the
last few years (Step-Dad in the Air Force) where he met Natalia.
Natalia flew in from Hawaii for a visit.
It's her first time away from Hawaii and she's enjoying
seeing all the snow here, having never seen it before.
It's been 10 years since we've seen Japhy and he's soon to be 20 years old
so it's been a happy reunion.
We all went out for pizza at Brenda's for a lunch/supper at 3 this afternoon.
We haven't been to Brenda's in a long time so enjoyed that.
Then came back to the house and had fun time playing Mexican Train.
Taking a break now to publish this.

Liz isn't with us now right now.
She's down in Florida with her daughter for a while who
is having Liz's first grand baby.

Well, that's it for today.
Hope you had a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by.

Ginny - The pile of snow is just where the snow plows pushed the snow, no cars underneath.

I thought the visitors would be deer or other wildlife, but I am not disappointed. 😄

How fun to have family visiting. My niece-in-law lives in a part of North Carolina that has no snow. She loves coming up here now for Christmas and so enjoys the snow too. Janice
