26 degrees this morning and dark and cloudy when I started walking.
Figured there would be enough places to find to walk in town
that were ice free and I did.
It was supposed to start snowing at 7:00 and right on time the snow started.
Made my way over to the library in a round about way staying
away from the slippery places.
Walked up down here.
Walked all the way down to the street I turn on to go home before
turning around and going back to town.
Next walked up the hill to the cemetery but didn't walk around,
turned and went back down the hill.
Christmas trees for sale.
Pretty expensive I'd say.
$40 for small ones and $60 for larger ones.
No one else out on this nice snowing morning.
Coming home.
☁️ 🌨️ ☃️ 🎄
We made a trip to Walmart.
Getting low on milk, eggs, and a few other things.
I got the rest of my house chores done.
Then put some green Fiestaware and some Christmas dishes
on the hutch.
This is the dining room area of our house
The lights look purple but they are actually blue.
Ken's mom gave us the Christmas dishes many years ago.
Had 4 plates but 2 broke.
Got a little bit of knitting in but not quite enough to finish Liz's throw.
That's it for this day.
Hope you had a wonderful day.
Thanks for visiting.

I absolutely love your snow photos, Karen! And your last photos are so cozy and heartwarming!
Your hutch looks really festive! We are going down to a low of 13 tomorrow morning. UGH Janice
Brrr although I like your snow photographs, they make me feel chilly :)
All the best Jan
That looks like a cold walk. It was 14 degrees here when I got up this morning.
I like your dining room and those Christmas dishes are really pretty!
Actually, those tree prices are very inexpensive. Christmas trees are close to $200 here for a 7 ft tree in a tree lot. Garlands are outrageous! Much cheaper, to pay the forest service, $10 for a permit. Any size. That's a bargain. We have a artificial tree. It got to the point where we couldn't make the time to cut our tree and then there was the weather since we were going up in elevation.
I like your dining room. Very country!
The Christmas dishes are so pretty. The teacups are so delicate.
You have a lovely dining room. The Fiesta Ware looks so pretty on the hutch. And so does your row of trees and houses. I think your hutch is the showpiece of the room.
That's a lot of snow you got there.
God bless.
The hutch looks really nice all decorated for Christmas. Your dishes are pretty. I had 2 sets of Christmas dishes and gave one set that was similar to yours to my daughter.
For a live tree that is really not expensive when you think of all of the years and time spent taking care of each tree. You just dont watch them grow. They have to be inspected yearly and trimmed, watered and fertilized. It all costs money. My uncle use to work at a tree farm and told me all that goes into it. It is only 5 degrees here. Janice
The snow images are pretty, we've only had a little bit and more sleet. Your hutch looks pretty. Take care, have a great day and a happy weekend.
...Karen, your dining room looks so welcoming.
Hi Karen! How homey and welcoming your home always looks! I love your Christmas plates and the Christmas village on your hutch! I would come right over for a visit if I could! I love that you have started another puzzle! Have a wonderful weekend. See you again soon!
We're dark and cloudy but not 26* we're at 41* I must say I admire you for staying true to your walks in the weather you have. I enjoyed the pictures you took alone the way. AND your room is so pretty and cozy, I love your decor.
What a lovely snowy morning walk you had — it sounds peaceful, even with the slippery spots. The Christmas trees look beautiful but quite expensive!
Your dining room looks so cozy with the lights and the Christmas dishes, such a sweet gift from Ken’s mom.
I hope you enjoy a quiet evening after your errands and chores. Stay warm in that winter weather! 💕
That's a nice-looking, bright dining room.
Oh, I just love how sweet your Hutch looks; love the colors and set up very much. My kind of style :) Dawn P. Albany, GA
Years ago we always had a real tree but now we just have an artificial one 🎄🎄🎄 Your Christmas dishes are very pretty as is your whole dining area!
Glad you could walk outside today. Your dining room looks nice and festive, too.
Years ago we always went to choose a tree but then we decided to get an artificial one and that's what we have now. We like to put it up early and you can't do that with a real tree.
I like your Christmas dishes. Very pretty as is your whole dining area
Everything is so pretty!
Very similar snowy conditions to here.
