It was 50 degrees this morning for walking.
Started out a bit drizzly but it soon stopped and was just cloudy.
At the end of my walk I even saw some blue sky.
I walked all around town and then the ball park
and both of the cemeteries.
The chickens were all down by their coop.
The man whose chickens they are came out to feed them
and he was at the opposite end of the yard.
Well, you should have seen them take off running to the
man to get their food.
It was so funny watching them all run at top speed.
That was the highlight of my walk.
Other than that it was very quite around town.
🌧 🐓 ☁️ 😊
After breakfast I got right into baking.
After all these years I can make a decent crust.😊
Made a Pumkin Pie and
a Deep Dish Apple Pie
By the time I was done and had the kitchen cleaned up
in was time for lunch.
Had a leisurely afternoon doing what I love to do,
knit and read.
Hope your day was most enjoyable.
Thanks for popping in.

Your pies look delicious. Wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving!
Real pumpkin or canned? I have done both. Both were good. 🙂 Niece is making desserts this year.
...let's start with pie first!
Lovely to see the blue sky at the end of your walk.
All the best Jan
I would have enjoyed seeing those chickens run too.
Your pies look good. I made a pumpkin pie, a chocolate dessert and some rolls today.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Your pies look good! Seeing chickens run is pretty funny. They are very food motivated.
What time is dinner? Those pies looks scrumptious. Wish it was 50 here. It is snowing and blowing here currently. Janice
Happy Thanksgiving to you and Ken. Your pies look yummy. I made a pumpkin pie and a Dutch Apple pie today to take to Carroll's brothers house tomorrow.
I have a little kitchen sign that states Life is Short, Eat Dessert first. That must have been what Tom was thinking.
Your pies look so good.
I made a dutch apple pie this morning. It smelled so good, we both seriously thought about cutting a small piece...you know to check if it's alright. 🤔 But decided not to.
Our Thanksgiving isn't till Friday but I did make a Lasenagna so everything is done and ready to pop in the oven. Enjoy your pies and your Thanksgiving, too.

Hi Karen. Those pies look delicious! You and Ken enjoy a lovely Thanksgiving Day. I'm sure that David and Liz will be with you, and that will be a blessing! God bless you all!
Wish I could have seen those chickens take off! Hoping you have a great day tomorrow!
Pumpkin pie looks good, seems like the apple pie was left in the oven too long.

Pretty sky! The pies look yummy!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
Take care, enjoy your day and the weekend ahead.
Your pies look delicious. I can't make a good pie crust to save my life. I cheat and buy frozen pies that I just have to pop in the oven
Your pies look yummy! That is on my agenda today, as we are doing Thanksgiving tomorrow.
It's fun to imagine how those chickens looked running for food! Your pies look fabulous. A very Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
