31 degrees, cloudy, and windy with gusts at times
but nice to be able to walk outside.
First walked around both of the cemeteries with a side trip
over to the long barn to say good morning to the cows.
I interupted their breakfast.
The rest of my walk was up and down all the streets in town.
Never made it to the ball park because I already had
all my steps in.
No one else out in the cold and wind.
Quiet around town.

Another load of laundry had to dry inside in the drying rack.
Too windy to hang outside and besides there is still snow on the deck
which is where my clothes line is.
I got a phone call from a lady named Jeana asking if I would
once again bake cookies for the Drane house cookie sale.
Jeana has taken over from Pam.
Of course I said yes.
I'll be baking 5 dozen Welsh Cookies.
Monday when I changed our bedroom all around I forgot to
post the before and after pictures.
So here they are a couple days late.

This is how far I've gotten on the scarf I'm knitting for my friend Dorothy.
It is 22 inches so far and when finished will be 60 inches.
Thanks for stopping by.
Hope you had a wonderful Wednesday.

...Karen, that morning sky is fabulous.
I agree with Tom ... that morning sky is fabulous :)
All the best Jan
It’s fun changing the furniture around.
The wind has been something this week, hasn't it? Thanks for including the before and after pictures of your bedroom re-do. I could spend a lot of time just taking in all of your beautiful furniture. We have such similar tastes. All of the quilts are beautiful, Karen. Were they pieces handed down from your family or did you piece them?
Very pretty start to the day!
You have a nice big bedroom and your after shots look nice.
I like the yarn you're using for that scarf.
I like the new arrangement in the bedroom That quilt hanging on the wall is really nice. Did you make that?
Love the colors in that scarf.
Beautiful photos, Karen! I absolutely love the cows, as you know! The one with the white face and perhaps the brown one beside this cow were looking right at you! How precious! :)
What a beautiful morning - it looks cold. The cows look content.
Your change-up in the bedroom looks good. I've always enjoyed changing the furniture around but it's a big job with lining up the things on the wall as well. I'm actually fairly set now except for the office and craft room needs a change up and rearranging.
Your bedroom looks big. Am sure you are thrilled with your new look. I know when I move one piece in my house it gives it a whole new look and I love it. Janice
Hi Karen. I love seeing the pictures of your lovely home. It looks so warm and comfy. That scarf is my favorite color. You will be busy baking cookies for the Drane House. Beautiful morning sky. Wow, it is really getting cold there. We have only been down in the 40s. Have a good Thursday. See you then!
