Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Another drizzly morning

Well it was another one of those mornings when I walked
in a misty drizzle with patches of fog.
It wasn't cold though at 44 and there was no wind.
Any morning I can go for my walk is a good one. 😊
Sunrise 7:09

Walked all around town and on the road behind the DG Market.
Then back through town and around both of the cemeteries.

Didn't see anyone at all in town except in cars.

A few dark drizzly pictures from my walk.

🌧    🙂    ☁️

Saturday, and another stitching day with the ladies.
6 of us there this time.
We've become good friends through these mornings.
I knitted on Liz's throw while I was there.
It's coming along but I still have quite a bit to go.

This afternoon did a load of laundry.
Read
Puzzled
and puttered about.

We've had some more birds at the feeder.
Yellow Belly Sapsucker
Juncos
Sparrows
and the usual Chickadees and White Breasted Nuthatch.

That's all I have to today.
Once again thanks for stopping by.

We were watching the chickadees at the feeder today and I remarked to DH that we had not seen a Nuthatch yet this season. Hopefully soon they'll come back from wherever they go in summer.

It rained just a bit last night. That throw is just stunning. I noticed the Winter birds coming in as well here too. Janice
