This morning I walked in a light drizzle.
It was 41 degrees and no wind at all.
Sunrise 7:07
First walked all around town and over to the DG Market.
Then it was to the ball park,
around town some more and lastly around the lower cemetery.
Rebecca was out walking but she was far away and
she didn't even see me.
Haven't see the chickens in quite a while and today I saw
part of the fence gone and thought maybe they got rid of the chickens.
But then I noticed a new shed and the fence was taken down for that.
I heard the chickens in their coop so they are still there.
Found some more coins in the DG parking lot.
2 dimes and 3 pennies.

Blankets work day at church this morning so headed
over there after breakfast.
Very foggy in places on the way there and back.
We didn't work on blankets this month though.
We did some arts and crafts.
Someone had the idea to make these and give them to each
person at the nursing homes.
This is just a few them, LOTS were made.
I brought the scarf to give to Dorothy but she wasn't there today.
I'll give it to her on Sunday.
Puttered about the house this afternoon since
I had this weeks house work done.
We've had a lone Canada Geese out back all day
just sitting or standing out there.
Read that it could mean that it is mourning for a mate
who had died, got separated from the flock or is injured.
It doesn't look injured.
We'll just keep an eye on it.
Thanks for stopping by.
Hope your day was a joyful one.

Ginny - Yes, they were Christmas lights in the picture yesterday. There are quite a lot of people who have put up their Christmas lights already. Seems right after halloween they go up. People forget about Thanksgiving!!!

Nice that you had an arts and crafts session ... I like what you've all made to be given out to the nursing homes.
All the best Jan
I love all your photos, dear Karen! How nice to make things and give them to residents at a nursing home!
Karen, have you ever found any paper money on your walks?
I thought of you today, because we had the same weather you did yesterday - drizzly and foggy all day.
Cute crafts for the nursing homes.
Regarding the verse - I think we are seeing some of those things happening.
The rule at our house was always to wait until after Thanksgiving, before the tree could go up. Well, we had ancestors on the Mayflower so we really wanted to celebrate Thanksgiving in style, before switching to Christmas.
I really love what you made for the people at the nursing homes. Great job!
Those decorations will help bring the true Christmas spirit to those in nursing homes. I love all of the kind service you and the people in your church do.
What a wonderful thing to do for the nursing home residents! The poor goose. They are not loners and seem to be lost without their flock.
