Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Wednesday

Got to town and started walking at 6:45.
It was 40 degrees, cloudy, with a little breeze.

Walked around town and by the time I got to the DG Market
it was light enough that I could walk around the industrial park.
I like walking down this road because it's nice and flat,
no hills to walk up.🙂

Then I walked back through town again.

Road work is done and we have a nice smooth section
of road again.

Lastly I walked around the cemetery up the hill.
A couple of the bulls were by the fence so took a picture of them.

Didn't see any one else around.

🍁    🎃    ☁️

Made a batch of pancakes this morning.
We had a couple for breakfast and the rest went in the freezer.

Finished up the weeks house cleaning already.

Spent a good portion of the afternoon knitting.
Trying to get Emily's scarf done by Saturday.
It's now 45 inches.

Not going to church this evening in the rain.
Don't mind driving in the dark or in the rain
but a dark and rainy night with glaring lights is not good.
So we'll watch on line this time.

Thanks for stopping by.
Hope your day was a good one.

Nice of the bulls to come and say hi!
Now that the cleaning is done, you can work like crazy on the knitting. :)

I don’t like to drive at night in the rain. I have to be somewhere tonight and thankfully it’s not raining.

I don't like driving in the rain at night, either. Cold and rainy here as well.

I don't like driving in the dark or the rain and if you put them both together it's even worse.

Love those bulls and the street shot, the street area looks 'comforting' to me. And you said: Don't mind driving in the dark or in the rain
but a dark and rainy night with glaring lights is not good.
Ain't that the gospel.
WE are drying out here. Sending love from Florida

Rain and darkness is a tough combination for us to drive in these days, too. Hello bulls! Have a great Thursday.

That's really nice that you can watch your church service online, Karen. Those bulls look like they are coming over to say hello to you.
