Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Walking in the dark

41 degrees this morning.
Cloudy and windy.
Sunrise 7:36

Walked all around town in the dark for most of my walk.
Then it was around the ball park for me and
lastly the cemetery up on the hill.

Very quiet around town again and didn't see anyone
else out walking.
Of course there could have been, just might not have
seem them in the dark! 🙂

Some pictures of my dark walk.

This was as light as it got and it was 7:30.

Looking forward to when the time changes back to normal again
 in a couple of weeks.
Then it will be light in the morning again for a while.

☁️    🍁    🍂    🎃

Today was a Fingerprints work day at church.
15 people showed up to work and we got just over
4,300 Roman's books in Spanish put together, packaged up and ready to go.
Another work day tomorrow and hoping to have a total
close to 10,000 by the end of the day.

That's all for today.
Thanks for stopping by.
Hope your Thursday was a happy one.
❤️ HappyK 🤗

Hi Karen, thanks for sharing your dark photos! I must take some photos when it is dark and see how they turn out, I haven't yet! Sounds like you had a great day!

Even though it takes me a while to adjust to the time change I'll be glad for brighter mornings ( even though it will be dark so early in the evening).

...I would prefer to walk when it's light out!

You have good eyes! 👀

The days certainly are getting shorter. The time change will be nice for morning light, but I really hate it getting dark at 5 at night. It seems like the day is done when it gets dark so early.

Hi Karen. I'm with you about dark mornings. I don't like driving to school in the dark and look forward to the time change - plus I will get an extra hour of sleep. Have a good Friday!

Kind of a spooky walk! Do you carry pepper spray?

I feel the opposite about the time change coming since that will mean more driving in the dark on the way home from work.

Hello,
I am not brave enough to walk in the dark. I will wait until it is light out and maybe a little warmer. Take care, have a great day and a happy weekend!

A whole different world in the dark. My drives into work are all dark now. The time change is soon, but I will still be in the dark. Janice

That is a dark walk. I'm happy for you that soon you will have light again. Hooray for all the helpers for the books in Spanish. Happy Friday!
