To town and walking at 6:35.
Dark, cloudy, and 39 degrees.
No little breeze this morning, it was just plain windy!!
Walked though town and up and down a few side streets.
Made my way over to the DG Market and back through town again.
Continued down the road towards home, turned around and back to town.
A big old rotten tree came down.
The house has been empty for the past 5 years or so.
I know I took a picture of these mums and pumpkins before
but that was before the mums were in full bloom.
The wind pushed me along at times and held me back other times.
It always makes me laugh!
Didn't see any one else out.
🎃 💨 ☁️
We went to church this morning for a couple of hours
to do some work there.
On the way home stopped for a quick run into Walmart
and then Walgreens.

G IS FOR GARAGE
Ken and I have built garages, 4 in fact.
When I say we built them, I mean the whole thing.
From the foundation to the roof.
And I wasn't just the gopher.
I built walls, put up siding, did roofing, the whole bit.
Garage number 1 was when we lived in Dale City, Virginia.
The old car in the garage on the left is a 37 Plymouth.
Garage number 2 was when we lived in Waldorf, Maryland.
A two car garage with a work shop on the second floor.
Next move to Savage, Maryland where we built garage number 3.
Garage number 4 we built here in Accident.
We still lived in town at the time but had the property
where we eventually built our house.
This garage was for the tractor and we call it the tractor barn.
The second floor is for storage.
Still working on it in this picture, but almost done.
I know someone is going to ask what that thing by the tractor is.
It's a rock crusher!!
I got some knitting done on the scarf this afternoon but didn't
quite finish but will have it done this evening.
Hope your day was a great one.
Thanks for stopping by.

love the garage pics, Karen. Which was is your favorite? thanks for the share♥
Hi Karen. It was so interesting to hear about all of the garages you have built. I also love your old cars! So cool! I had two old cars - a 1973 Ford Mustang Mach I and a 1973 Ford Mustang Convertible. Charly restored the Mach I. We sold the convertible to someone who restored it. We still wish we had both of those cars. They were fun - but expensive. Have a happy weekend!
...I went to steam tractor show and saw an old rock crusher. You have enough rock to start your own crushed rock business.
I love ❤️ the vintage cars.
Ken consistently produces outstanding work, and of course your contributions are equally impressive. :-)
I inherited my dad's 1963 Thunderbird, which he fully restored and used to show, and I gave it to my sister. I don’t regret it at all! It became quite a challenge to garage. Plus, we weren’t intending to show it, so it was the right choice for us at that time!
You did great on all those garages! I like the old car too.
The rock crusher is so interesting. I've never seen such a thing.
Wow that's an amazing feat to build your own garage and to do it four times is even more amazing. Janice
A lovely photograph of the mums and pumpkins ... so colourful.
All the best Jan
Oh my gosh, you are both talented carpenters! Garage specialists! They all look so professional and nice. And I learned something; I have never heard of a rock crusher. I'm glad you showed us how it works!
