I got to town for my walk at 6:50.
Thought I'd walk a wee bit later so I could walk in the light
a little bit longer.
Didn't matter much because it was a cloudy drizzly morning anyway.
It was 50 degrees and calm.
Sunrise 7:26
Saw the twin fawns (who are quite big now) in the road just
down from my driveway.
They turned to look at me and kept going down the middle of the road.
I went slowly and they finally turned off into the corn.
I didn't blow the horn because I liked watching them!
Walked around town and then around the ball park and both cemeteries.
The fountain was turned off.
Don't think it's broken, more likely turned off for the season.
Thought the little girl and boy scarecrows were cute
by the entrance way to the hair dressers.
(they are inside out of the weather)
Didn't see anyone else out walking.

Finished making the rest of the weave-it squares for the pillow
and sewed them together today.
Will fill it with polly fill on Thursday at church.
Don't have any here at home.
Knitted a little on the infinity scarf I'm making for Emily.
It is to be 60 inches long and I only have 12 inches so far.
It's an easy pattern though and goes pretty fast.
We went out after lunch to the library to pick up a book for Ken.
We got gas and then to Shop and Save.
Only needed a couple of things because we did
shopping last week on Friday.
The thing we needed most was ice cream. 😊🍨

The scarecrows are so cute. That's a nice looking fire engine too. Ice-cream sounds good and it just reminded me that I have some so I'm off to go get some.
Bob and I just came back from a short walk in the woods, we saw 4 deer out there. No fawns though.

Hi Karen. Those are cute scarecrows. I have some similar, but didn't put them up. I haven't decorated my house much for fall this year. I am wondering if you and Ken read the same kind of books. Charly and I usually like different books, although occasionally we will have a "reading date" and read the same one at the same time. Have a good Wednesday. See you then!
