It was a chilly start to the day this morning.
35 degrees when I got to town to walk.
It was clear with just a little breeze.
Sunrise 7:21
Walked up and down the main road and all around town.
Then it was around the ball park.
No chickens, they were all in their house keeping warm.
Continued over to the cemetery up the hill.
When I came back down the hill I saw Ken's truck in the parking lot at the doctors.
He had to have his yearly routine blood work done.
I was in the pond parking lot when Ken came over in the truck.
He was on his way to drop off the truck for an oil change at
Art Butler's which is a couple miles up the road.
There he goes.
I told him I was just going to walk around the other cemetery
and then I would come and pick up him.
You can see there was a light frost this morning.
🥾 ☀️ 🎃
On this chilly morning oatmeal was my choice for breakfast.
Book club day at the library.
The book for discussion was
The Frozen River by by Ariel Lawhon
I had read the book back in April and knew I liked it but didn't
remember all of the details.
Everyone liked it.
Picked up some books from the library while I was there
that we had reserved.
3 for Ken and 2 for me.
Took the clothes off the line and got them folded and put away.
Then we went to pick up the truck.
As we we driving down our road, Jack the UPS truck driver
stopped us and gave us a package.
Said it would save him a trip up the road.
You know you live in a small town when that happens. 🙂
Hope you enjoyed your Wednesday.
Thanks for stopping by.

Love the colours of the trees.
All the best Jan
I love your small town! And the photos are perfectly autumn~like!
Beautiful photos. It is chilly here in as well. I had toast and eggs with a hot cup of tea this morning.
I meant to say here in Montreal.
It was a cold start to the day here too. I had frost on my windshield when I left for work
Oatmeal on a chilly morning like we had really hits the spot. Praying all is well with Ken's blood work when he gets the results.
Beautiful colours in those trees.
I am loving your photos! The beautiful tree in the first photo, the line of brilliant yellow trees in the next photo, and the spookily beautiful frost image!
That first photo is just gorgeous!
I'm thinking a bowl of oatmeal sounds very good and I need to have some for breakfast soon.
Hi Karen. I love how fall looks in your area. The first picture is gorgeous. You live in such a nice little town- what a blessing for you both! Thank you so much for the birthday greetings - from you and Ken! I love the card and note you sent. Have a good Friday!
It was a cold start here as well. Even had front on my windshield
Hello,
It is in the 30's here this morning. I love the pretty fall colors!
Take care, enjoy your day! Have a great weekend.
It's getting cold ... but not frosty yet!
God bless.
That first photo is wonderful...I hope people clicked to open in a new tab! I did know the joy of a small town...back in the day we were waiting on a computer and wanted to go do something...we knew he delivered to business down town first...so went down there and got it from him!
That's great that your UPS driver recognizes you. We haven't had our first frost yet.
Love the photos and the walk. About thepackage delivery:
You know you live in a small town when that happens..... Yes things are different in a small town. Ours was small once. We noticd awhile back we received a letter after it made several trips around town. The address was off only two houses. At one time the mail man would have known us, and corrected it immediately.
YOu guys are fortunate. Good stuff. Love from our back yard.
Chilly start yesterday for me too. Had frost on my car window. Janice
How convenient for the UPS driver!
