Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Rain again

60 degrees this morning with on and off rain showers.
My umbrella went up and down quite a few times.
I like hearing the rain on my umbrella.
Sunrise 7:07

Walked to the library first and put a few books down the drop.
Continued up and down the main road and the side streets.
Walked around the ball park and one of the cemeteries.

RuthAnne was out walking her dogs.
Someone else walking her dog, that I see once in a while,
and a man who walks every now and then.

☁️    ☔️    🙂

Another rainy day so again couldn't do any painting.
The pumpkins I'm trying to paint aren't exactly wood but close.

Baked a chocolate cake this morning but didn't put any icing on it.
We will have a piece for our snack tonight with a scoop
of vanilla ice cream with it.

Had to pick up a few things at Shop and Save this morning
and was back by lunch time.

I knitted some more on the temperature blanket and might
even be caught up with it later this evening.

That's all I have for today.
Hope your Wednesday was happy one.
Thanks for stopping by.
❤️ HappyK 🤗

...years ago when we tent camped, the sound of rain was pleasant to hear.

It was raining here this morning too but in the afternoon, the sun came out
I'm anxious to here about the pumpkins!
The wild flowers by the pond are so pretty. I'm going to miss flowers of all kinds when we get our first freeze.
