Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Rainy Day

A warm morning for walking with a temperature of 63 degrees.
Sunrise was at 7:06 but no sign of it this morning.
I had a rainy walk - we need the rain so it was welcome.
Even sang a few lines of I'm Singin in the Rain. 🌧🙂

I'm singin in the rain,
Just singin in the rain.
What a glorious feeling,
I'm happy again.
I'm laughin' at clouds so dark up above.
The sun's in my heart and I'm ready for love.
Let the stormy clouds chase everyone from the place.
Come on with the rain, I've a smile on my face.
I walk down the lane with a happy refrain
Just singin', singin' in the rain.

I walked all around town and up and down the side streets.
Around the ball park a couple of times, and a few times
around the cemetery on the hill.

Rebecca was out walking Leo and another man I see
once in a while was out walking too.

Some rainy pictures along my walk.

🙂    🌧    ☔️    🍁

Had planned on painting today but with the rain had to put it off.
I needed to be outside to paint.
A couple of you guessed the orange paint was for pumpkins
and you were right.
Now the question is what are the pumpkins made of.

A good day to get some house cleaning done,
so did that in the morning.

I knitted some more rows on the temperature blanket.
Just about caught up now.

Changed the hutch around again.
Put all my red (called red but is orange) and yellow Fiesta Ware on it.
Looks like Fall.

Supper this evening is roasted sausage, potatoes, onions, and carrots.
It's in the oven now and will be done soon.
Good, because I'm hungry!!

That's it for today.
Hope you enjoyed your Tuesday.
Thank for stopping by.

Thank you for singing for us. I haven't heard that song in ages. Brings back memories from the early years of our marriage. Supper sounds yummy. Hope you will show a picture of your hutch since you put out your fall colors of Fiestaware.
