This morning when I walked there was a mix of sun and clouds.
48 degrees, no wind, and sunrise was at 6:46.
Walked around both of the cemeteries first.
Continued on over to the ball park and around there.
Then it was up and down the main road and a few side streets.
It was the first day back to school and I saw a few kids
getting to bus stops.
I didn't see any school buses because it was still a bit too early.
I saw a woman walking I see once in a while but don't know her.
Rebecca was out walking too.
Pretty Impatiens (?) by the library.
🥾 🌤 🚸
We went food shopping this week at the Shop and Save again.
Didn't need much and it saved a trip down to Walmart.
Holly, one of my needlework friends from the library
lives on a farm and went around dropping off ears of corn 🌽
for all of us on our porches.
Isn't she nice!!
It ended up being a cloudy day with no breeze.
I had a load of laundry on the line and it took a LONG time to dry.
Made some more weave-it squares for the pillow.
It is going to be a checked pattern with two different colors of green.
I'm off now to make tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches for supper.
Hope you enjoyed your Tuesday.
Thanks for stopping by.

GrannyM - No, no special remedy for colds, we don't even take any medicine. We do have a lot of cups of tea with honey though.

Beautiful photos, Karen! I love fresh corn on the cob!
Sounds like you had a great day.
I just read your response to GrannyM. I don't take any medication or OTC remedies for a cold, either, I stick to tea with honey, homemade chicken soup and rest. The cold always passes on its own, and often quicker with this way than if I took cough medicine or other things.
Not only that, but food (unless you have an allergy) has no side effects, where often cold remedies can...and do.
Thank you so much for sharing your lovely photos.
Hi Karen. That is so nice of your friend sharing her fresh corn with you and others! So glad you are feeling better and are back to your daily walks! Have a great Wednesday. See you then!
...those pots of impatiens look great and corn doesn't get any fresher than
that!
Fresh corn like that is the best!!
I too don’t take cold medicines. When I was younger I found out the hard way they only prolonged my cold. Basically I just let it run its course and if need be, I sleep it off. Seems for me, sleep is the best remedy for colds and flu.
What a nice thing for Holly to do. Nothing like fresh sweet corn!
Tomato soup and grilled cheese sounds very good.
That's a very kind gesture on Holly's part! Yummy! Our corn is almost done for this season.
Tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches sounds like a wonderful supper...especially for these cooler evenings.
We were in Garrett County today and the clouds were absolutely gorgeous on the drive over this morning.
How nice that Holly dropped off fresh sweet corn. I haven't had any in a long time.
Grilled cheese and tomato soup sounds good.
Yum; fresh corn on the cob! Do you make your own tomato soup? The sky was lovely.
Very generous to drop corn off on your porch. Those impatiens are so pretty too. Janice
