Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

ATV Ride

43 degrees this morning when I walked.
Once the sun rose it was a sunny walk with no wind.
Beautiful weather.

Made another stop at the library today to drop off a book,
the continued walking around town.

Coming down from the main road here going to the cemeteries.
One at the end of each road and I went down both.

Lots of geese at the pond this morning.

I was wrong about the house yesterday getting the inside renovated.
A while ago an addition was added to the back of the house.
It was not that good a job.
Looked just tacked on and didn't match the style of the house.
Someone else must have thought the same as me
because the addition is being demolished.
That's why the dumpster is there.
I went around back and took a picture.

After walking around the cemeteries I headed over to
the ball park and walked around there a couple of times.
Thomas was there too running his laps.

Then ended my walk back at the pond.

☀️    🥾    ☀️

Scrambled eggs and toast was todays breakfast.
Did a few chores and then we were off to to do a few errands.
Stopped in at the library to pick up a couple more books and a DVD.

After lunch we took a ride around our property on the ATV.

This is David and Liz's little cabin.
They will be putting a deck on it next year.

Sure enjoying these last days of summer.

That's all for today.
Thanks for stopping by and hope you had a great Tuesday.

Debby - The fountain in the pond gets turned off once we get freezing temperatures.  Don't know exactly when that is.

Thanks for your answer. It makes sense.
David and Liz’s cabin is so nice and cozy. A deck will sure be a nice addition. And speaking of additions - that’s crazy about the house - Hmm, wondering if it was permitted and up to code? If they hired a contractor, I hope the owners aren’t sacked with the extra expense. Questions we probably won’t ever find the answers to. Interesting though.

Hi Karen. What a nice day you had! It was fun to see David and Liz's cabin. It is a blessing to you and Ken as well as to Liz and David that they can live so close to you. Your property is wonderful! Hope you have a great Wednesday.

What is the blue on the left of David & Liz's cabin? I thought that was a deck.

A beautiful start to the day. In the picture of the two roads leading to the two cemeteries is that a driveway in the middle?
A ride around the property on an ATV sounds like fun. I like David and Liz's cabin
