I didn't walk in the rain this morning, just a bit of fog.
It was 62 degrees and calm.
Walked up the main street in town and up and down all the
side streets on the right side.
Continued on over to the DG Market where I turned around and
went back down the main road.
Passed up the pond and walked down the road towards home.
Turned around after a while and went back to town
and then around the lower cemetery.
Didn't see any one else out today.
Since it is dark now when I first start out
as I walk along I set off the motion detector lights in a few places.
☁️ 🥾 🍁
We left right after breakfast to go to church for another
Fingerprints work day.
Only 5 of us there today but we still got more done than yesterday.
We ended up getting 8,820 Romans books put together, stapled, cut, and
boxed up for the two days!
All day I've been looking forward to having pizza for supper.
I made the dough and Ken is making the pizza right now.

C IS FOR CARDS
For years now I've been saving all the thank you
Cards
that people have sent me.
I keep them all in this basket.
Every so often I'll read them and it makes my heart happy.
It brings back memories of things I have made or given to someone.
Things that I have forgotten all about till I read the thank you card.
There are even thank you cards from people I don't even remember!!
That's all for this Friday.
Hope your day was one that made you smile.
Thanks for stopping by.
❤️ HappyK 🤗

My husband brought home a ton of vintage un-opened cards he bought from someone on an antique pick he went on. I kept enough to send out my Christmas cards and he going to sell the rest. It was a great find. Janice
Glad to hear that you put out so much at Fingerprints today even though there were 15 less people there.
...it's always nice to receive a card in the mail!
That's a great stack of thank you cards. Well done with Fingerprints today. You are pros! Enjoy that pizza.
It's sad that cards are being sent less and less every year. The price is always increasing. I remember years ago my mother used to send dozens of cards to people she knew and she would get lots sent to her and the family. It's nice that you saved lots of them, they bring back good memories.
I do like sending and receiving cards, and I do save some of mine to re-look at.
Enjoy your pizza.
All the best Jan
How lovely to have received 😊 all those thank you cards, dear Karen. You have showcased them beautifully.
It was foggy here today too.
Good job with the fingerprints ministry today.
Good idea to save those cards and read through them again, I can see why that would make for a happy heart.
This is such a good idea about the cards. And they all look pretty sitting out there.
My mom saved every card she ever received. It was several boxes - I went through them and finally had to do the hard thing and throw them out. They meant more to her and nothing to me other than she loved those cards.
Those cards are treasures that tell how you've blessed others in various ways. How nice to keep them close at hand.
I save my cards too. I love snail mail of all kinds. Cards and letters, they're much more personal than texts and phone calls and you can go back and enjoy them year after year. I have a box of letters that my brother wrote to our Mom when he was living aboard his sailboat and working on an island called Yap back in the 70's. I got them out a couple months ago and read through them and cried. He loved it there.
It was foggy here yesterday morning too.
I always start to save cards that I get then I get to a point where I'm cleaning out and end up throwing them all away
I keep pretty cards in a basket too. I love to look through them and sometimes make a junk journal with them. Enjoy your weekend!
I have a box of cards people have sent me that I sometimes re-read too. Some of them make me laugh every time!
Those cards would be treasures...
