Walking this morning it was 70 degrees and nothing but clouds.
I had a book to return to the library so went there first to drop off the book.📕
Then continued walking over to the DG Market and walked up and down the road behind it.
Since I was over this way I walked around the industrial park.
Walked back to the pond parking lot and that ended my walk.
John was out walking Prim and I saw Rebecca walking from a distance.
Found a dime in the DG Market parking lot.💰
Don't know what this is but it was a huge bush.
Edit: Thank you Tom for identifying the bush as Japanese Knotweed.
☁️ 🥾 🌻
The clouds turned to sun and I went outside and did some weeding. Then sat out on the porch and read while I cooled off.
Later I came back inside and knitted on the green shawl.
I know it's only Thursday but we felt like pizza so thats what we are having. It's in the oven now so we should be eating very soon now.
Thanks for stopping by.
Hope you had a fabulous day.

Kim - You wondered about my cleaning schedule. I start on Monday with washing the sheets. Then I start at one end of the house and work till I don't feel like it anymore. The next day I continue where I left off and again work till I get sick of it. I continue all week like that and by the end of the week, all is done. Some weeks it gets done early in the week. Other weeks I take the whole week. I used to take one day for doing the major housework but I like this way much better.
GrannyM - You were right, the big blue thing by the bull is a scratching post. It was bigger at one time. They use it a lot.🙂

I absolutely love the first image! It’s so beautiful, and that lacy plant really stands out when you zoom in. I have no doubt one of your followers will recognize it. It’s just gorgeous!
...that is Japanese knotweed and it is a horrible, invasive plant!
That area you were walking in the first photo is so pretty.
A dime will help increase your total...
I saw your comment to Kim on your cleaning schedule. I used to work like crazy on my day off to get it all done. Now I do it kind of like you and have it divided up and spread through the week. If I have a busy day I do it ahead of time or do it the next day. Much nicer this way!
|Beautiful photos of your walk, dear Karen, thank you so much for sharing!
Japanese Knotweed; that's a new one on me! It sure is odd looking. Any night is good for pizza!!
Here in the UK due to Japanese knotweed’s invasiveness, its negative impacts on native species and the environment, and the implications it has on buying and selling properties, results in most gardeners wanting to get rid of it!
I hope you enjoyed your Thursday pizza :)
All the best Jan
We have Japanese Knotweed here and there are signs identifying it whenever it is.
Hi Karen. I don't think I had ever seen a Japanese Knotweed until I read this post. Very interesting. I haven't seen anything like that around here in Utah. I liked reading about your cleaning schedule. The older we get, the better it is to divide things up. Charly and Josh help quite a bit with the cleaning now that I am back in school. Glad you had another nice walk and a nice day. See you again soon!
Tom is such a great resource in identifying plants! Looks like a lovely walk. Enjoy your Friday!
So my guess was right. Thanks for letting me know.
I've wondered about your housework schedule. I'm glad you included it. Now I know :)
The verses from Numbers are some of my favourites.
I don't think I've ever seen a bush like that. It's very interesting looking
Beautiful landscapes! Nice walk.
Take care, Happy Friday! Have a great weekend.
Beautiful photos, K. Thank you.
God bless.
What beautiful scenery as always, HappyK. And pizza sounds mighty good to me right about now....my stomach is growling as I haven't eaten yet today. :-) Much love, Andrea xoxo
It's so nice you're able to sit on your porch to cool off. I'm still looking forward to days spent on the porch, it's still too hot right now. Good photos from your walk, I always enjoy them.☺♥
Japanese Knotweed is pretty, but it surely can take over an area in no time.
Pizza sounds yummy!
I simply love the landscapes on your daily walks. Such beauty. Janice
