59 degrees with a mix of sun and clouds greeted me
this morning as I headed out.
A very quiet Saturday as I walked through town to the DG Market,
turned around and back through town.
Up and down some side streets.
Around the ball park a couple of times.
The chickens were all running around the yard by the ball park
and I counted 6 baby chicks.
Took a picture but they were too far away and it didn't come out.
From there I headed to the cemetery on the hill and then
back to the Jeep.
Had all my steps in so didn't make it around the other cemetery.
No one else out and about.
What a beautiful morning for walking.

Saturday morning was spent at the library with the
Needlework ladies. ๐งถ
8 of us there today.
We have two teenagers who meet with us.
One entered a few items at the County Fair last week.
She won a blue (first place) ribbon for a blanket she crocheted.
Also 2 red ribbons (2nd place) for a hat and purse she crocheted without a pattern.
A small closet that holds my yarn, patterns and other needle crafts
is once again a mess.
So I started organizing it again.
As always I read some this afternoon and even though I knitted this
morning did more knitting too.
That's all I have for today.
Hope your Saturday was a good one.
Thanks for stopping by.

What a beautiful photograph your first one is.
All the best Jan
Those clouds in the first photo are absolutely beautiful.
...Karen, you saw some fabulous things today!
Hi Karen, I absolutely love this entire series of photos!
The sky is so gorgeous in the second photo. And the one after it with the church and fountain is just perfect. Peaceful beauty.

Thankful for another beautiful day today! Definitely great walking weather.
That's so neat that the one teen girl entered her projects in the fair and won ribbons for them.
The photo of the corn and blue sky is beautiful and is the picture of summer.
I think it's great you have teenagers meeting with you - and so nice that one got blue ribbons!
Hi Karen. It's so great that you have some teenagers in your knitting group. Good for you for keeping your yard closet tidy and organized. It's an ongoing job. I hope you have a good Sunday. I hope I can listen to your Sunday evening service!
I like all your photos. Such a peaceful little town.
Is that one photo Queen Anne's lace. I have been trying to find seed for that and to get it to grow out around my back lot I think it's so pretty. And it's such a nice filler for bouquets. We don't have wildflowers here like you have back in the East and I really miss it.
Today's cloud pictures are the best yet!!
You saw some chicks and we spotted some ducklings. ๐
That first picture with the clouds is awesome. Congrats to the girl who won on her fair entries. She must be very good to crochet something without using a pattern. I have a hard enough time with a pattern
Love your photos and the pretty sky.
Congrats to the teenagers winning those ribbons.
Take care, have a wonderful week!
