This morning when I walked it was 71 degrees with a breeze.
Started out with lots of clouds and as I walked it turned sunny.

As I left my driveway the doe and fawn were going down the driveway too.
Mama had just got the baby from out back and were headed
out for their morning excursion around the neighborhood.
Started my walk going around both of the cemeteries.
Then all around town, around the ball park, around town again
and back to the Jeep.
The two geese families haven't been around for quite a while now.
They've all flown off to places unknown.
Noticed the ears of corn have started growing.
This is another cemetery in town.
It is small and just along the street which I pass walking from the
other cemeteries to the ball park.
There were three people running laps around the ball park.
I think it was a mother, father, and a daughter.
Haven't seen them before and they were all running at their own pace.
I saw Sheila running too and we said good morning as we passed
by each other and then she said she was out early because it was
going be 100 today.
I don't know what weather report she heard!!?
but we had a high of 84 degrees.
One of the houses along the main road in town is getting a new porch.
The old decking was just painted plywood and is now being replaced.
Don't know with what yet because now
just the joists are exposed.

Started laundry as soon as I got home from walking.
We had breakfast and
while I hung the clothes on the line
Ken put all our trash in the truck, then we went to the dump.
Did some house cleaning when I got back home
and then it was lunch time.
A bit more cleaning and then finished reading a Nancy Drew mystery
on the porch, The Mystery at the Moss-Covered Mansion.
Also had time for some knitting.
I feel like I go a lot done today.
Beautiful weather too.
Sunny with a nice breeze and a high of 84 degrees.

That was a nice start to the day. Glad it didn't get up to 100. It was pretty hot here yesterday. I think it did hit 90.
I always loved Nancy Drew Mysteries.
