This morning when I went walking it was 69 degrees.
Just a little fog around at first and then a mix of sun and clouds.
On my way to town I saw 4 deer, 2 rabbits, and a groundhog.
Walked around both of the cemeteries.
Going over to the long barn I noticed that the road there
had gravel spread all long it.
No more mud and puddles.
Walked around the barn.
Continued walking to the ball park and around there too a couple of times.
The rest of my walk was all around town.
Saw a woman walking around the ball park.
Mark and Anna were at the ball park too.
When I got back to the pond I saw Sheila's car
but never saw her.
🌫 🌤 🥾 😊
When I got back home I happened to look up at the sky and
took this picture from my driveway.
There is a rainbow in the cloud.
Found out it is called cloud iridescence.
The colors were much darker in person.
This is the first time I've ever seen this.
Got a crock pot of chili going first thing this morning.
It is for supper tomorrow when David and Liz are coming over.
It always tastes better the next day.
Did some laundry.
Have to take advantage of sunny days when you don't have a dryer.
Did a little more housework.
Got windy and we heard thunder.
Sat on the porch.
It didn't rain in the afternoon but did while we were having supper.
We don't need a humming bird feeder because we have hanging
petunias on the porch and the hummers love them.
Read a while and knitted too.
I made Chicken Enchiladas for supper.
That's all I have for today.
Thanks for stopping by.
Hope you had a great day.

Smart to make that chili early so it can develop all the great flavors. That rainbow in the cloud is so cool. Glad you saw it. I'm so behind with visiting and there is no way to catch up.
...Chicken Enchiladas sound mighty good to me.
Chili and pasta are best the second time around. With the pasta, it is best to put the cheese when it is on the plate because cheese never reheats well. Great day.
I prepare my shredded beef enchiladas a day in advance because they taste so much better that way. However, there have been times when we just can't wait to eat them.
Yum on the chicken enchiladas - we're having carne asada tonight.
A lovely sky photograph and your crock-pot of chili sounds good.
All the best Jan
Karen, you take some of the most amazing pictures. The cloud iridescence is something that was new to me, but you certainly captured it well!
Love the picture of the cows in the barn too. The way the sun is peeping in on them makes for a lovely shot.
As always, supper sounds wonderful! :)
What a gorgeous rainbow. Thanks for sharing what that type was. We have a baby groundhog in our backyard I have seen a few times now. Janice
Hi Karen. I love that rainbow in the clouds. I have never seen that.
I see the rainbow in the clouds! Totally awesome!! Whenever I try to snap a rainbow, my camera shows it a lot paler than it really is. I don't know why either. Love the cows eating in the sun!
I love your photos, especially the cows in the barn and the rainbow clouds. Enjoy your chilli tomorrow with your friends.
That's a beautiful sky. You are always so busy; bless you.
Best wishes always. God bless.
Beautiful sky photo. I love the cows too.
It is great your hummers love the petunias.
Chili sounds yummy. Take care, have a great day!
I've never seen a rainbow in a cloud either. How cool is that?!! Those cows are precious. And yes, chili is always better the next day, for sure. Enjoy your company. Love, Andrea xoxo
You packed a lot into a day. That cloud is very cool. I have never seen anything like that.
Always enjoy hearing about your walks, sometimes I feel I'm walking with you. :) I really enjoyed the picture of the cows, maybe I'm a farm girl at heart. Hope you're having a great day.
The sky is beautiful, glad you looked up and photographed it.
I just love those small surprise rainbows. They are just a tease, and I enjoy the view. Keep walking, gotta do more my own self.... Hugs to the old retired guy!
