I took Sat and Sun off from blogging.
Didn't do anything special, just need a couple days break from blogging.
We've had rain and sun every day.
This morning my walk started out cloudy and ended up sunny.
It was 64 degrees with a bit of a breeze.
Sunrise 6:07
Walked around both of the cemeteries a couple of times
Then on over to the ball park and a round there a couple times.
Back to the pond and then up and down the main road
through town and back.
Continued on down to Sale Barn Road and back where my walk ended.
Queen Anne's Lace is growing all along the side of the road.
Some big pine trees were cut down on a side street.
Couple of people out walking their dogs but not anyone I knew.
George was driving by and stopped to ask me to pray for his friend.
I told him I would add Tom to. my prayer list.
I thought it was so nice that he stopped to ask me.
Nice to be known as someone who prays.
Some work is going to be done down the main street in town
for the next several days.
They were just putting out the work signs as I left to
go back home.

Glad to see the sun come out because I washed the sheets
and got another load out on the line too.
Made a good start on this weeks housework.
I've been knitting on the very colorful throw blanket for my friend and
I'm more than half way done.
When I finish it, I'll post it on my other blog with the pattern.
Such a beautiful sunny day in the 70's.
Sat out on the back deck.
Happy to say that we have tomatoes growing in our little raised garden.
Still green but excited that anything is growing.
A couple of bell peppers are growing too.
That's it for today.
Hope you enjoyed your Monday and
Thanks for stopping by.

GrannyM - Yes, I still keep track of my walk steps and the steps for the whole day. Just stopped putting them on my blog because I didn't think anyone cared.π₯Ύπ

...a break can be a good thing.
On my old blog, Linda's Peaceful Place, I blogged every day. Now on this blog, Linda's relaxing Lair, I blog twice a week, Mondays and Thursdays, and this suits me perfectly.
Glad you enjoyed a break.
Your photos of your walk are lovely!
Today here in Montreal, the weather was absolutely perfect! 21 degrees Celsius, which is about the upper 60's to low 70's Fahrenheit with a beautiful breeze, partly sunny, partly cloudy! My kind of weather! I took a 2 to 3 hour walk...yes, I did! And this is after an 8:00 a.m. blood test and then breakfast! I got many photos I took which I will share in my upcoming blog posts, it was such a joy and relief, not to mention God's blessing, that the temperature was so beautiful!
Thank you so much for sharing your posts. :)
A break is a good thing. I only blog a few days per week and sometimes that seems like a lot.
Love your colorful blanket. Your tomato and pepper plants look nice and healthy. I miss having them but whenever I've tried planting them the rabbits or something gets them.
I've been thinking about you, and I definitely noticed your absence. I kept wondering what was going on... so many of my blogging friends are having some major health issues or their spouses, and it does make me very sad. I was praying that was not the case for you and Ken.
A break is often welcome.
I do like your throw blanket it looks so colourful.
All the best Jan
The tomatoes are looking good. I am glad to see you. I wondered if you had not posted because you may be sick. The blanket is beautiful. It reminds me a bit of Native American art.
Nice looking blanket. Hope your tomatoes do well, I love the freshness and taste of garden tomatoes.
Hi Karen. Sometimes, it is nice to take a little blogging break. That colorful throw blanket is beautiful! Are you still making your temperature blanket? Looks like you have a good crop of tomatoes coming. I listened to your church's Sunday night service last night and really liked Pastor Leatherman's sermon on finding joy. I don't always remember when the service is going on, but last night I caught it just as the sermon was starting. I hope your week goes well. See you again soon!
I just asked you in the reply to the comment on my blog a few minutes ago how your garden was doing and then I came here and saw pictures! Everything looks so healthy, Karen!
What a blessing that you are known as someone who prays. When I read that George stopped and asked you to pray for his friend Tom, I teared up. It's purely bringing glory to God! hugs.
Your throw blanket you are making for your friend is absolutely beautiful. I love the way the colors are working out.
Sometimes a little break is just what you need.
The throw blanket is so pretty! And I love that you got asked to pray, truly is good to be known as a praying person.
We have been so dry but finally got an inch of rain on Saturday. And - I have a tomato starting to turn red!
