Sunny and hazy out again this morning and a warm 55 degrees
when I started walking.
By the time I was done walking it was up to 61.
First walked around both of the cemeteries.
Passing by the pond on my way to the cemetery on the hill
I stopped to take another picture of the Canada geese families.
Both families still are traveling around together.
The little ones aren't so little anymore.
Sure growing fast.
They didn't even rush down to the water when I they saw me.
and over to the ball park loop to walk around there a couple of times too.
Then it was back to the Jeep and the end of my walk.
John and Prim were walking.
Saw Shawn and two other people who I don't know.
Another day, another walk to start the day off right. 😄
☁️ ☀️ 🌸 🚶♀️
Seemed a shame not to have any laundry to do with such a nice sunny day.
After getting a few things done around the house I ended up
knitting most of day.
I was close to finishing the
Fan and Feather Prayer Shawl and wanted to get it done
and I did!!
I am pleased with how it came out and it will be hard to wait
to give it to my friend!!
I posted it on my other blog and if you care to see it
and the pattern click
HERE.
Just had some French pizzas for supper.
We were running late and needed something quick before
heading out to church.
Have to make a quick stop at the library to pick up a DVD for later.
That's going to be it for today.
Happy Wednesday
and thanks for stopping by.

Lovely to see the Canada geese families.
All the best Jan
...they say that our haze is caused by Canada's wild fires!
So sweet to see the Canada geese families, dear friend. Thank you so much for sharing! Here in Montreal today the temperature reached 96.8. I didn't venture out because it was too hot, but I got things done at home, so it's all good.
Lovely post, thank you so much for sharing your walk!
The geese families are really cute.
What a beautiful walk! The geese are so cute together!!! Can't wait to see how your knitting turns out. I have been wanting to try crocheting, but we are in the middle of a kitchen cabinet refacing project, so I think I will have to wait for that to be done first! Can't have too many projects going on at once haha! Thanks for sharing!!!
It was cool and rainy here today. It only made it to 63.
The prayer shawl is beautiful!
The prayer shawl is a nice pattern - very nice. I’m not familiar with a prayer shawl. Is this part of your friend’s denomination?
The fan shawl is gorgeous! I love the wavy style of it! I am thinking the geese are very used to you by now. I like seeing you in the mirror. Even from far away, I like your outfit!
I like your mirror photos. And the geese.
God bless.
That prayer shall is really pretty. I wish I knew how to knit.
I went to Walmart yesterday to pick up a few groceries and almost bought a french bread to do pizza with.
Pretty scenes and photos. I love the pond.
The shawl looks beautiful! Take care, have a great day!
That prayer shawl turned out real nice. Another good walk in the books for you!
The prayer shawl is so pretty! Knitting sounds so complicated to me!
What a lovely lovely blog! I'm glad I discovered you through Ginny's Let Your Light Shine blog. I will add you to my blog roll on my page. ~Andrea xoxo
I like the picture of you in the side mirror. :) That's neat. I also love seeing the geese. We don't see many here but occasionally will hear them flying overhead.
Happy Wednesday back to you. I clicked over to see the prayer shawl and it's so pretty. A very special gift for sure☺♥
'A shame not to have laundry to do'!? Where have I never heard that!
I like that expression: 'Getting your steps in.' How many steps do you strive to 'get in' per day?
