but just cloudy when I walked.
I had the umbrella along just in case.
It was a warm 66 degrees.
Walked around both of the cemeteries first thing.
Then I had a letter to mail at the post office and a couple
of DVD's to drop off at the library.
Walked around town and made my way over to the ball park.
Didn't see any people walking around there but did see a CAR.
First time that happened.
RuthAnne was the one driving the car and she stopped and told
me she was here checking out the Pickle Ball Court.
I can't remember who but one of you guessed
a Pickle Ball Court.
So that little mystery of the paved spot has been solved.
RuthAnne said now that the paving is complete she will schedule
for the fencing to be put up.
Also found out that the lot where the house was demolished
that now has grass on it will stay like that for 5 years.
This will be the last picture of the Canadian geese families.
The babies have grown so big you can't tell the babies from the parents.
☁️ 🌸 😊
Ken got bit by something the other day when he was out back
on is left arm.
Didn't think anything of it, didn't see a tick or anything.
But now the spot is getting bigger and redder and a little
swollen so we went to the doctor this morning.
Don't know anything for sure but just in case he has been
given some antibiotics to take for 10 days.
Sure hope this clears whatever it is up.
After lunch we drove down to Walgreens to pick up his prescription.
After being out a good part of the day didn't feel like
doing anything when we got home.
I did feel like reading though and did that.
Also made a few weave-it squares.
Supper tonight was left overs.
I had macaroni and cheese and Ken had chicken.
It's been another rainy day till late in the afternoon
and then we saw a little sun.
Thanks for stopping by.
Hope your Wednesday was a good one.
🤗 HappyK ❤️

There are the Canada geese again! :) Ken may have been bitten by a spider, possibly? Good thing he got it checked, though, better safe than sorry. Glad the mystery has been solved.
Pickle ball is so popular. We were on the way to putting one in our back acres and then Greg had his stroke and those plans were abandoned. I hope the sting does not cause any issues. Praying right now that his arm and body will be fine and that the antibiotics will be helpful.
Glad he went to the doctor. Bites that act like that are not to be ignored.
I thought of you today because I was out driving on a fairly busy road and the traffic came to a halt. We all waited as a family of Canadian Geese calmly strolled in front us. Made me think of your geese families.
Nice that the spot where the house was will remain as is for at least 5 years.
Praying Ken's arm heals quickly!
Oh gosh. I guess the doctor had no idea what had bitten him. Keep us posted on how he is doing. Pickleball, I should have guessed! It is everywhere!
I hope the antibiotics help Ken, and that he heals quickly.
All the best Jan
...you can't be too careful.
I love that picture with the Scripture tonight. What a cheerful little guy and it pairs beautifully with Colossians verse!
I wonder why that property where the house was demolished and grass was planted has to be like that for 5 years?
Pickle Ball...well, I had to look that one up and now I know what it is. There must be a fair amount of people in your area who enjoy playing it for the town to actually make a court for it. That's neat.
I'm so glad that Ken went to the doctor about the place where he got bit. We had an experience about a year ago when Carroll found a tick on him. It had embedded itself and that is one time that I was certainly thankful for Urgent Care facilities and antibiotics. Praying for Ken.
Hopefully the antibiotics avert any serious response to the bite that Ken got.
Our goslings are the same....it's hard to tell them from the adults now.
They put pickleball courts in at the local park but they didn't do the paving like they did where you are. I never would have guessed that. Of course I don't know the first thing about pickleball either.
Sorry to hear that Ken got bit by something. Hope the antibiotics work.
