Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

A busy Monday

There was a mix of sun and clouds this morning when I went walking.
67 degrees and calm.

There is the main street in town.
Two streets on either side of the main street run parallel.
The street to the left is where both of the cemeteries and the
ball park are off of.
I walked up and down the left side first going around the cemeteries
and the ball park and walked back again.
Then I walked up and down the main street and back
towards home till I got to Sale Barn Rd and then back to town
and the Jeep.

Saw a woman walking a dog.
Bill was out working getting town trimmed up and neat
for the parade on July 4th.

Another grave was getting dug.
This one at the lower cemetery.

Remember that rabbit that was hiding under the car on Saturday?
Today the rabbit was in the same place minus the car!!!

Sorry for the poor quality of the picture.

⛅️    đŸĒĻ    🤗

A sunny morning so got the sheets washed and another load
washed and hung out on the line.
Dried super fast.

Ken and I started moving some things out of the garage and
into the new shed.
Hung up tools and got all the gardening things out there.
Had a bunch of flower pots and white plastic buckets under
the porch and got them cleaned up and put in the shed too.

Lots of junk came out of the garage that we put in back of the
pick up truck and took a load to the dump.
Still have lots to do but made a very good start.

All that done and then it was lunch time.

After lunch I washed the window box shelf over the kitchen sink.
Then washed windows, inside and out.
Ken helped me move the ladder around outside when I washed
the outside of the windows.
The big front window doesn't open but the two side ones do.
This is what I get to look at while I do the dishes.
Many times I watch the deer roam around.

Of course just as I finished washing the windows it rained!!!

Before it was time to get supper ready I knitted.

Supper tonight was roasted Italian sausage, potatoes, onions, and carrots.

Hope you had a wonderful Monday.
Thanks so much for taking the time to read my blog.

I also have a garden window over my kitchen sink. We put it in for our cat, Susie, so that she could watch the birds. Your view is so lovely to look at.
Regarding the rabbit - is it real? Or a stuffed animal? It's strange that it doesn't move and remains in the same spot.

Window washing is one of my least favorite things to do...especially the outside because none of our windows pull in.

Your plants look so healthy, Karen.

I detest washing windows. We had rain today, so i got a reprieve from watering the flowers. Janice

You remind me that I need to be washing some windows!
I bet it felt really good to get some things moved into the new shed.

Hi Karen. Wow, what a productive day! You got a lot done. I love the view from your kitchen window. I had a garden window in my first house and loved it! I would sure like to have another one someday. We are trying to clean out our garage and shed, but we aren't going very fast. I need to follow your example and just get it done! Have a good Tuesday. See you then!

You've had a busy and productive day. I don't enjoy cleaning windows either but would rather do that than vacuum the floors. That's my least favorite job. Love the view from your window.

The window washer comes tomorrow at 4. I did my part and washed all the sills and tracks in preparation. Sounds like a good day at your place getting things out of the garage and into the shed. That's a nice view from your kitchen window.

I have never seen a kitchen window like this. It is almost a bay window. So many possibilities, I love it!
