A cool 43 degrees, sunny and no wind.
Walking past the pond I didn't see any sign of the geese family.
Maybe they are in hiding yet from the eagle.
Hope to see the family here again soon!!!
Noticed that a dumpster has been delivered here.
I guess they got tired of seeing the pile of wood they took
out of the house and are getting rid of it.
It's been there all through the winter.
Walked around the cemetery and it was nice to walk in the sun.
From there headed over to the post office to mail a card.
Then around the ball park once.
Continued to the DG Market and walked up and down the road
between the DG and the industrial park.
Back over to the ball park and around there again.
Shawn was walking there too and we walked once around the loop together
then each went our own way.
Rebecca was out walking Leo and
there were three fishermen around the pond.
Lots of rabbits hopping around town this morning.
Counted 6 of them.
The irises are blooming around town now.
I like these two toned ones.
It was a delight to walk in the sun.
☀️ 🙂 🐇
Got the normal morning things done and then headed outside.
I trimmed and weeded around the house.
Collected a few more rocks for lining another path leading out back.
We have two robins nest, one in front under the porch
and one in back on top of the down spout on the gutter.
Both have eggs in the nests.
After lunch we went to the library.
Ken had three DVD's to pick up and one book for me came in.
I looked around some and found two more books to read!!
Another librarian has started working there this week who has
replaced Connie who retired some months ago.
Emily is the new librarian and she seems so young!!
She is super nice and I'm sure I'll be seeing a lot of her!
Didn't do much when we got back home except
read and knit like I do most late afternoons before supper time.
It was nice sitting outside but I went back and forth
from the front porch to the back deck.
Front shady and cool, back sunny and hot.
Supper was roasted sausage and vegetables.
Potatoes, onions, and carrots.
Well, that's it for this Tuesday.
Hope your day was a good one.
Thanks for stopping by.

So much beauty here. The irises!!! Love the Scripture verse as well.
The Iris are lovely.
Hi Karen. I love those purple and yellow iris! I have never seen any like that before. It's always nice to walk in the sun, after several cloudy days. It's good that you have a new town librarian and that she is very nice and helpful! That scripture verse is one of my favorites. Enjoy your evening and have a good day tomorrow. See you then!
...that two tone iris is a beauty!
Your cemetery shot and the iris are both beautiful.
You must have lots of rocks around to be able to line another path.
It's been raining here for the last four days so I really enjoyed your beautiful, sunny walk today!
Your pictures are beautiful as always. I especially enjoyed the one that was taken at the pond. And dinner sounded delicious!
Those irises are beautiful. Such lovely elegant flowers. I hope you get more sunny mornings to walk in.
I have not seen the baby swans since my first sighting either. I so love the colors of irises. Janice
That iris is a pretty one. I noticed yesterday that mine will be blooming soon
Pretty view of the pond and landscapes.
The flowers are pretty too.
Take care, enjoy your day!
Any walk in the sun is a good one!
Enjoyed walking with you this morning. The picture of the cemetery looks so lonely, hmmm, maybe it's just me. Supper sounds delicious♥ Happy Wednesday!
Beautiful iris and I love the pond photo, it's a beauty.
Sounds like such a cozy day — books, birds, knitting, and sunshine! A lovely mix of quiet and small joys. 😊
It is nice to see all the shadows in the photos. I love that two toned iris! Hooray for sunshine!
The Iris look so lovely.
All the best Jan
