Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

No Walk Day 2

Don't like not walking again but Ken talked me into giving
my Achilles tendon another day of rest.
Will probably not walk tomorrow either but get back to it on Monday.

Needlework at the library this morning.
There were 6 of us there today.
I usually knit my 2 rows on the temperature blanket in the evenings.
Saved yesterdays knitting on it for today because its straight knitting and
I can do that and talk and not get distracted and mess up the pattern.

Since I was giving my AT a rest I didn't go out back to work either.

Mostly read and knitted this afternoon.
Some out back on the deck
(warmer out there than in the front)
and some inside.

Out on the deck I watched a robin building a nest
on top of the down spout of the gutter.

Supper tonight was fish sandwich on rolls.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you had a great day.

Ginny - My Achilles tendon started hurting awhile ago but previous to that no, never had that problem before and don't understand why it is now.  Haven't done anything different or strenuous.  No pain today with it though.  Resting is helping.

...you need to listen to your body!!!

I agree with Ken, dear friend. Give your body time to heal and rest. It won't be fun if you decide to walk too soon and then injure yourself. Your sky photo and post are beautiful! God bless you.

I'm sorry about your Achilles tendon giving you a problem. Who knows why these things happen? Out of the blue. I hope it heals quickly because I know how much you like your walks!!

The Achilles tendon can really hurt. I hope it heals permanently this time for you.

Ken is right... it's best to heal completely before walking again. I hope you heal quickly, I know how much you enjoy your walks!

I'm glad the tendon is doing better!! Seems like the rest helps. Your photo of the sky is gorgeous, and maybe you will have robin chicks soon!

The extra rest is probably a good idea.

Hello,
Ken's advice is probably good, you need another day of rest.
Love the sky shot and the robins seem to nest close to houses.
Happy Mother's Day to you! Take care, have a wonderful day and a happy week.
