A cloudy morning for walking but eventually saw a little sun too.
It was 50 degrees and thankfully the wind had stopped.
First walked around the upper cemetery and on the way there
the geese family were just starting their morning swim.
I can already see the babies getting bigger.
Walked around the other cemetery, all around town, and the ball park.
I always get a kick out of the chickens.
Today this one looks like she's just standing there enjoying the sun.
The rhododendron around town have started blooming.
So Pretty.
Juan was out working in his yard and I stopped for a little chat.
He was the one that dug that neat little trench for the pipe and put the
sod out in the neat line.
No one else out walking that I saw.
Getting back to the Jeep at the end of my walk I saw an Eagle
sitting by the pond.
Too far away to get a good picture but I took one anyway.
He sat there for a while and then took off and circled over head
for quite a while.
I stayed and watched till he flew away.
Didn't get any pictures of him flying because I knew they wouldn't
turn out any good and just enjoyed watching him.
What a site to see!!!
Didn't see any sign of the geese family.
Hope they had a good hiding place and the Eagle didn't get any of the babies.
Found a penny.
☁️ 🌥 🦅 💰
Looked like rain again but it wasn't supposed to so washed the
sheets and hung them outside.
Clouds gave way to lots of sunshine this afternoon though
the wind picked up again and it was on the cool side.
Made rhubarb cobbler and looking forward to having that for my
snack along with a scope of vanilla ice cream.
Got a good start on the house cleaning for the week.
Sat outside on the deck out back for a little while in the sun.
Too windy to walk around under the trees out back.
Did my usual activities after getting my work done of
reading and knitting.
Thanks for stopping by.
Hope your Monday was a good one.
🙂HappyK❤️

The baby geese are so cute and that rhododendron is just gorgeous.
It's always touching to see an eagle. They are majestic.
It was cold and cloudy here today too. It only reached 59 degrees.
The baby geese are doing well.
I always enjoy seeing rhododendrons at this time of year.
Wishing you a happy week ahead.
All the best Jan
...wow, seven, that's a big family!
So lovely to see the pair of Canada geese and their little goslings! And the eagle...wow! Your photos and posts are beautiful and I appreciate all that you share.
I'm always excited to see an eagle. Love the little goslings! So cute!!
Love the eagles. Fish is usually their favorite but they are opportunistic eaters. I watch our pair for a few minutes each morning and only one time did I see them bring in a rabbit. Once they hauled in a turtle but it got away! They are interesting to watch. Soon ours will be leaving for the higher elevations once the heat starts in.
As always, lovely photos!
Cooler temps are here again too.
Cute geese and how wonderful to see that eagle. I had my first sighting of baby swans this afternoon. Janice
I've been noticing all the different shades of rhododendrons around town. I like them all! Seeing an eagle is special and never gets old. I'm glad yours didn't decide to have a gosling for breakfast ( although I know what a fuss an angry goose can make. The eagle would have a fight on its hands...talons, I guess they are.)
The baby geese are adorable, following Mom along. My daughter sent us a photo of baby geese near her house. We aren't lucky enough to have such nature here so I enjoy seeing others photos! Thanks for sharing...
Not just any Eagle, but a Bald Eagle!! I have only seen one in nature one time. Your duck family photo is so cute! I hope they remained safe.
I love the rhododendron! It's so nice and big. We have one in our garden, and I'm hoping it will become just as big as the one on your blog.
Nice walk.
I also baked rhubarb pie :-)))
So good.
Best wishes.
Let's hope the geese are OK.
God bless.
That rhododendron is so pretty. My dads yard used to have several large one. I think the last time I drove by they were gone and replaced with some type of evergreen bush.
How exciting seeing the eagle. That would be a real treat to watch him.
Great photos of the geese family, the chicken and the Bald Eagle.
The rhododendron is lovely. Have a great day and happy week ahead.
Your photo of the geese family is so sweet.
What a beautiful rhododendron!
How exciting to see the eagle.
What a sweet family of geese! Hope you are enjoying another good day...it was so beautiful walking this morning!
I'm checking in to see how you fared during those bad storms. I was concerned that it would hamper your walks! :) Love the photos here.
Cute photo of the family of geese. Have a wonderful afternoon.
Too bad that eagle wasn't closer and sitting still for you!
That Rhododendron is beautiful. It's cool that you saw that Eagle. See you again tomorrow.
Good to see the goslings doing well. I like seeing the eagle. We have one that lives close by and we catch glimpses every now and again.
I don't know exactly how far away you were from the eagle, but your picture turned out well. I clicked on it so that it enlarged and I envied you a bit of your being able to watch it circling around in the sky.
Seeing a lot of baby gees out here too! Seeing an eagle is a bonus!
