We had some errands to do this morning and knew I would
be getting some steps in so decided to skip my walk so I could
take it easy on my foot.
We stopped at church and picked up the church trailer
as we are taking it to Bedford, Pa tomorrow.
We went shopping at Walmart so got a good many steps in there.
It was a dreary rainy day so it was nice to spend the rest of the day inside
puttering about.
It's nice having a day like that once in a while.
I finished reading the last Miss Read book,
A Peaceful Retirement (20) in the Fairacre series.
Kind of sad to see the series end.
I know all the people of the village so well, it's like saying
good-bye to old friends.
The prayer shawl I'm knitting is now 38 inches so it's coming along.
22 more inches to go.
Made weave-it squares for the latest baby blanket.
This one is definitely for a girl.
Supper tonight was one of those big salads with lots of ingredients.
Romain Lettuce
Celery
Toasted Croutons
Carrots
Red Pepper
Onions
Pecans
Dried cranberries
Cheese
Ken added olives to his but I don't like olives.
We put Ken's Raspberry Walnut dressing on it.
Quite tasty.
Hope you had a great day.
Thanks for taking the time to stop by.

Deb and Dianna - I have 5 rhubarb recipes that I like to make and will be using the rhubarb for them. Problem is that Ken does't like rhubarb so I have to eat it all up myself. David doesn't like it either. Liz has never tried it so I'm hoping she will like it and I'll have someone to share it with.
You can find my recipes HERE.

Baby blanket looking nice. I love Ken's raspberry dressing and use it all of the time. Janice
Those kind of salads are my favorite. I try to be grateful for a rainy day as otherwise I wouldn't get my inside chores accomplished :)
That's a good salad!
A rainy puttering day is good. I hope the drive tomorrow goes well.
...we had so little rain today that I named the drops as they fell. Rain is in the forecast each day this week.
The salad 🥗 sounds good 👍 Sweet baby blanket.
Your salad sounds delicious.
All the best Jan
Hi Karen. I love salads and yours sounds delicious! I love that baby blanket. See you again tomorrow!
Your blanket looks nice. I love your little bee happy ornament, it's cute.
We eat a lot of big salads for dinner with all of our favorites! And homemade ranch dressing!
The salad sounds so healthy! And the blanket is coming along so well, such soft pretty colors!
That bee is so cute. Love the looks of the baby blanket.
Hello,
We had a rainy Tuesday too. I love the cute bee. The salad sounds delicious! Take care, have a great day!
Glad you are still taking it relatively easy with your foot. We have been eating a lot of salads from our garden and my very favorite dressing is Ken's Raspberry Walnut dressing. I could seriously drink that stuff! :) Hmmm...rhubarb is something that we enjoy in spurts. I'm thankful that Carroll enjoys it too. :)
I would omit olives, too. The dressing sounds delicious! Good choice to give your foot a rest except for Walmart! :)
