Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Work Day 2

A cloudy morning and 55 degrees when I walked.
Sunrise 6:24

Walked around both of the cemeteries, the ball park loop,
and around town.

Happened to be passing by when Kinsley was getting to day care
so I got a hug from her again.
A good way to start the day and she gives good hugs.🤗

Saw a man walking his dog around the ball park who I've never seen before.
Rebecca was out walking, this time without Leo.
3 fishermen around the pond.

As I was walking around the cemetery on the hill I was aware
of all the sounds I could hear.
The chirping birds.
A killdeer calling.
Some geese flying overhead.
A rooster crowing.
The fountain in the pond.
Cows mooing and the bulls calling.
A barking dog.
In the distance a tractor.

How thankful I am to have good hearing!!

🌷   ☁️   ðŸŒ·

Had a quick breakfast and headed out to church for another
day of doing Fingerprints.
Another good turnout and we for the two days work we put together,
stapled, cut, and boxed up a total of
11,275 Romans books.

Stopped at the library to pick up a couple of DVD's.
We got home a little after 3:30, just in time for me to get the pizza dough made.

 That's it for this post
Hope your Friday was sunny and bright.
Thanks for visiting.

Deb - For the roasted vegetables I use whatever I have.  Usually potatoes, sweet potatoes, onions, and carrots.  I've also used bell peppers, parsnips, and rutabaga.

Spring mornings are so beautiful, with the flowering trees and all those wonderful sounds you mentioned.
That's a pretty stone.

Wonderful walk!!
The sounds you describe are very characteristic, as is the hug!
On one side is life and on the other side is death and the tombstone!!
Ah, that's how it is!!

Having good hearing is definitely a blessing. Mine is gradually getting worse and in a room with many conversations going on I'm lost. Fortunately I still hear sounds like birds and fountains etc..

I love hearing all the birds chirping in the morning. It's the best sound ever.
I can't help noticing the difference in age between those two on the headstone.
