Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Daffodils on a dreary day.

When I left for town it was very foggy and misty.
33 degrees and calm.
It wasn't as foggy in town as at the house.
Sunrise 6:43 but never saw the sun today.

These pretty yellow daffodils were like seeing a bit of sunshine this morning.

I walked to the DG Market and walked up and down the street behind the store.

Since I was in the area I ended up walking around the industrial park.
In this photo I'm walking back to the main road up ahead.

Another pretty quiet early Saturday morning around town.
The only person I saw to say Good Morning to was a man on his
front porch smoking his morning cigarette which I smelled a half block away.

I spotted this sign in a few yards around town.

Work has started again on the garage and they have part of the roof on.

Found a couple of coins by the car wash,
a dime and a nickel.

    🙂    ☁️    💰

Headed back to town after breakfast and went to the library
and met the ladies there for Needlework.
Would you believe it was snowing as I drove there.
Nothing came of it though.
6 of us there today.
We always enjoy our time together and have become good friends.

Enjoyed puttering around the house this afternoon.
A good day to be inside!!

Thanks for taking the time to stop by.
🙂HappyK❤️

The daffodils are cheery. We have just a few that popped open here but more are coming.

I have never seen a sign like this reader one. Yes, I can smell tobacco from a good distance as well. I feel badly for smokers who are trying to quit, but just cannot.

I don’t know if it’s like this where you are, but it’s illegal to smoke inside your home or apartment if you rent. So outside of Apartments, you can always tell who smokes by the chairs out the door. Regardless if you own or rent it’s illegal to smoke around children in the house or even outside in public areas. Or in front of shops. Thankfully, I’ve never smoked. California has really put the squeeze on smokers.

Those daffodils are like sunshine on a stem. We didn't have any sunshine here yesterday either. That garage looks huge.
