The temperature this morning was 26 degrees.
Clear and then sunny when the sun rose.
No wind and it was 33 when I finished walking.
Today the geese were at the edge of the pond.
town again going up and down some side streets.
Also went around the ball park loop and both of the cemeteries.
Up at the cemetery up the hill there are a few bird houses.
I saw a bird fly in and out of this one a couple of times,
but couldn't get a good picture.
Looked like some kind of sparrow.
This is the lower cemetery.
A bit of frost but the sun took care of that.
Another quiet morning around town.
I'm sure once the weather stays warm I'll see some of the regulars
out again, at least I hope so.
I miss seeing them.
Sunrise was 7:22
Nice to see it getting lighter in the morning by a couple of degrees
each morning.

🙂 🥾 ☀️
Even though it was still pretty cold for hanging
up the laundry I did it anyway because knew it would warm
up later in the day.
We had some shopping to do this morning so we were off to Oakland.
First stop Lowe's and then food shopping at Walmart.
I spent a couple hours after lunch organizing my recipes.
I put recipes in a clear plastic sleeve and them they go in a white binder.
This way I can take the recipe I'm using out of the binder and
with it in plastic if it gets dirty I can just wipe it off.
I threw out a lot of recipes that sounded good at the time
I wrote them down but know I'll never really get around to making it.
I'm still not done but as least now I can find what I'm looking for.
Still have to organize the cake and cookie section.
Did a bit of knitting too.
That's something else I have to look through and organize,
my knitting patterns.
They're a real mess.
I've been collecting more patterns and have just stacked them all up.
I do the same thing for the patterns as I do for the recipes.
I made the fried chicken tenders in the air fryer again.
We had baked potatoes and spinach with it.
That's it for this day.
Hope you enjoyed your Tuesday
and thanks for stopping by.
🙂HappyK❤️

...my Sweetie has a bunch of recipes and uses just a handful.
I love the photo of the frost covered ground.
I just told my hubby the other day that I need to organize my recipes in a binder. I really need to find the time to do it. Janice
Hi Karen. I also have a big white recipe binder and I put all of my recipes in plastic covers. Like you, I need to go through mine and get rid of recipes I don't use. Maybe I will do that this summer when I'm on break. I hope you have a good Wednesday and I will see you then.
Frosty mornings are pretty!
I need to clean out my recipes again. I know I have a lot saved that I never made. Good idea to put them in sleeves.
Organization and clearing things out is so rewarding. Spring is starting this week. So exciting. Happy Tuesday!
It's good to have a sort out now and again ...
Keeping recipes in clear sleeves works well.
All the best Jan
We were surprised to find that we had some snow "beads" overnight. They were round pellets and made the boardwalk part of our walk slippery.
Recently I organized my recipes but since then I've printed off several more and having tried them I think I'll get rid of them. I don't need so many different ones.
Our mornings are cold here, but not frosty.
Love the pond photo. I have a lot of recipes saved on my computer. Take care, enjoy your day!
Sounds like a good system for your recipes. I have a box jammed full of recipes. Some may be in the right spot others could just be stuffed in. I should go through and get rid of the ones I'll never use.
Photos looks so peaceful and quiet. Love the scripture.
I like how you always end with a Bible quote.
God bless.
Thank you for directing me to the walking FAQs. I've tried many times to start the walking regime outside but have found I do better with the YouTube videos of Leslie Sansone.
My wife has lots of recipes that she's been using for years plus she makes up some too.
I need to go through my recipe binder, too. I'm like you, I have recipes that sounded good at the time, but I know I will never make them...especially since our diets have changed.
The picture with today's Scripture is so pretty. And I love the Psalm.
I need to be organizing my recipes/cookbooks. I find I often make the same things!
